19 Malaga Festival will bring together professionals of the documentary film In a meeting that will take place in Malaga on 25 and 26 April participating directors of the stature of El as Le n Siminiani, Virginia Garc a del Pino, Albert Sol , David Varela and Alejandro Alvarado and producers as Felipe Lage (Zeitun Films), Tania Ballo (half Intropia), tone Folguera (Lastor Media) and Jos Antonio Hergueta (MLK Producciones). On 25 and 26 April in the framework of the 19 Malaga Spanish Film Festival will take place at the seat of the Rectorate of the University of Malaga the IV meeting of documentary film.
These days, the Festival de M laga bet documentary film by complementing its already consolidated programming and establishing a place for reflection and analysis on its current situation within the Spanish cinematography.
The meeting is organized by the city of Malaga and Malaga Festival with the collaboration of the Andalusian Agency for cultural institutions of the Culture Ministry of the Junta de Andaluc a; the Association Pro-docs (Association of producers of online); the r & d project Transnational relations in the Hispano-American cinema: the axes of Spain, Mexico and Argentina (CSO2014-52750-P)funded by the Ministry of economy and competitiveness; and the University of Malaga.
It has a transverse vocation and aims to integrate different perspectives, such as the academic, industrial and creative. To do this, it will bring together filmmakers, University researchers, programmers, distributors, critics and TV channels and public bodies responsible for. Presentations and debates will address issues such as the creation of ppublicos, new avenues of distribution, financing policies, the situation of the creators or current trends and forms of the Spanish documentary.

Spanish Cinema) and the distributors Enrique Costa (Avalon) and Enrique Pi uel (audiovisual Playtime). The meeting will be held at the same time with the presence of Andr s Luque (Televisi n Espa ola), Benito Herrera (Andalusian Agency for cultural institutions), Joan Salvat (Sense Ficci , TV3) and Jaume Ripoll (Filmin).

Returning to the road
Malaga Festival of Spanish cinema was a pioneer in recognizing the movements that were generating around the production of documentary film in Spain at the beginning of the 21st century. Three congresses on the subject within the framework of the festival was supposed a great meeting place for academics and professionals and were witness to a then-emerging generation of filmmakers.
Its been 12 years since the last of those occasions, more than one decade in which experienced intense transformations in the cultural landscape and Spanish film that has been felt in particular in the documentary.
