The SVG Europe and SVG Americas teams are onsite in Amsterdam for IBC 2025. As the production and broadcast industry gathers to launch new products and reconnect, the SVG team is out in force in the exhibition halls of the RAI to gather and share the latest news with the SVG community. You'll find all the key announcements and news here with daily updates through Monday.
Today's issue includes exhibitors from Halls 11-14, including Amazon Web Services, AudioShake, Camera Corps, Canon, Cartoni, Dell Technologies, Eluvio, FUJIFILM, Ikegami, Marshall Electronics, Megahertz, Mo-Sys, MRMC, MultiDyne, RED Digital Cinema, RTS Intercom Systems, Sony, Tata Communications, Telemetrics, Teradek, Vinten, and XD Motion.
Hall 11 Canon (Stand 11.C41) has unveiled the EOS C50, its smallest and lightest cinema camera at 1.5 pounds. Featuring a new 7K full-frame CMOS sensor, 7K 60P internal RAW recording, and 32MP still capture, it delivers hybrid performance in a compact form. With an RF mount, detachable handle with XLR inputs, and support for multiple codecs, the C50 is built for productions of all sizes. In addition, Canon has also introduced the CINE-SERVO 11-55mm T2.95-3.95, an ultra-wide 8K cine lens offering a 100 angle of view-wider than any previous Canon cine-servo lens. Covering Super 35mm sensors with a built-in 1.5x extender for full-frame use, it delivers sharp, vibrant imagery from 11-55mm (or 82.5mm with extender). Featuring fast focus/iris control, Focus Breathing Compensation, and USB-C customization, the lens is available in RF and PL mounts with support for advanced metadata, ARIA, and ALAC.
Marshall Electronics (Stand 11.C28) will launch the CV625, its first dual-sensor/dual-lens, PTZ/POV 4K tracking camera, at IBC2025. It offers simultaneous close-up and wide views, picture-in-picture outputs, and enhanced AI tracking. Equipped with an 8-megapixel 1/1.8in sensor, it captures 4K UHD at 60fps. The camera's proactive AI auto tracking uses face recognition and learns subject movement for smooth framing, preventing focus breathing . Program outputs include 4K HDMI/RTSP, 3G-SDI, Ethernet, and USB 3.0, with a bonus live head count feature.
Once again exhibiting alongside Nikon and Red Digital Cinema, MRMC (Stand 11.C20b) will highlight a powerful and unified vision for the future of broadcast and cinematic production, including the launch of two new groundbreaking products: the Cinebot Nano and the RPS-LT (Roaming Pedestal System with robotic arm). the exhibit will showcase a range of seamless workflows that demonstrate the combined power of MRMC's robotics, Nikon's imaging technologies, and Red's cinematic cameras. This year's show will provide attendees with a first-hand look at how these integrated solutions are redefining what is possible in modern content creation, from high-end virtual production to dynamic live broadcast. In addition, there will be hands-on demos of the Slidekamera Orion Slider with the Bullhead Studio multi-axis robot head, and a dedicated section for sports broadcast robotics.
MultiDyne Video & Fiber Optic Systems (Stand 11.C12)will debut the C16-AM-12G, the first in its new Crescendo Series of audio and video monitoring tools, at IBC2025. This 1RU audio monitor supports embedded 12G-SDI and IP audio monitoring, building on its Census line with 12G and optional Dante or ST 2110-30 integration. It offers 16-channel monitoring, pristine sound quality, and intuitive controls for broadcast environments. Dual front displays show real-time audio parameters, with HDMI output for SDI video previewing, and all Crescendo Series monitors include redundant power supplies. In addition, MultiDyne Video & Fiber Optic Systems will present updates to its VersaBrix (VB) Series, a modular fibre-optic transport platform, at IBC2025. VersaBrix manages various signals, including 12G/3G/HD-SDI to HDMI 2.0, audio, and Ethernet, over a single fibre strand with uncompressed, near-zero latency. A new all-white chassis option will be introduced for all four VersaBrix form factors (two, four, six, and ten-slot versions), suitable for studio installations or visible gear. Its compact 1RU design makes it ideal for OB trucks and flypacks, simplifying temporary setups.
RED Digital Cinema (Stand 11.C20a) will bring its Cine-Broadcast Module to IBC2025, enabling full-frame cinematic imagery in live broadcast workflows. The module supports two channels of 4K60P (HDR/SDR) via 12G-SDI and SMPTE ST 2110 IP, plus a 4K60P JPEG XS feed. New this year is its integration with EVS' XT-Via live production server, allowing enhanced super slow-motion (4x at 4K, 8x at 1080p). It also enables real-time 8K 120fps R3D streaming and AI/ML enhancements via the RED Connect license.
RTS Intercom Systems (Stand 11.D09) is redefining wireless communication with the launch of NOMAD Wireless Intercom. Engineered for high-stakes environments, NOMAD delivers reliability, mobility, and scalability, ensuring seamless communication when it matters most. Next, RTS has also launched its new HRF Series headsets, which is the next evolution of the company's trusted broadcast headset line. Designed for seamless communication in fast-paced, high-pressure environments. With the new Flip-To-Mute feature, muting is as easy as flipping the boom up, and re-engaging is just as simple - flip it back down and you're live again. Lastly, RTS Intercoms is launchig RVOC (RTS Voice Over Cloud), which is a cloud-based intercom solution engineered to revolutionize communication in mission-critical industries, including broadcasting, live events, corporate enterprise and healthcare.
Hall 12 Cartoni (Stand 12.F31) will present the MIXO 21, a brand-new fluid head d
