BT Sport employed EVS XT4K servers to deliver UHD in HDR in the final of the Champions League Los servidores de producci n en vivo y la plataforma de entrega multimedia C-Cast jugaron un papel clave en la producci n que BT Sport llev a cabo como host broadcaster del partido celebrado en Cardiff.
EVS proporcion una gama de herramientas de su ecosistema de tecnolog a Connected Live y soluciones Creative Live a BT Sport para la cobertura en directo de la final de la UEFA Champions League 2017 celebrada recientemente en Cardiff (Reino Unido).
Como host broadcaster de la UEFA para este encuentro, BT Sport implement los servidores de producci n en vivo XT4K para impulsar su flujo de trabajo de producci n en Ultra Alta Definici n 4K. Al mismo tiempo, los servidores se utilizaron para generar flujos de trabajo HDR, ofreciendo tanto una mayor resoluci n como un mayor rango din mico para crear una experiencia de visualizaci n m s atractiva para millones de aficionados en todo el mundo.
El XT4K, el ltimo servidor de producci n de la gama XT de EVS, proporcion a BT Sport hasta cuatro canales de UHD-4K en combinaciones flexibles de entrada y salida. Durante el partido, los servidores fueron utilizados para ingestar una docena de fuentes de de c maras UHD-4K alrededor del estadio y la producci n HDR de BT Sport fue habilitada para el soporte de codificaci n de 10 bits de los servidores.
Por su parte, los paneles de control remoto EVS LSM se utilizaron para crear las repeticiones a c mara lenta en resoluci n UHD HDR, mientras que la conectividad en red entre los servidores hizo posible el intercambio de media entre operadores.
Jamie Hindhaugh, director de operaciones de BT Sport, ha se alado que las repeticiones que hemos creado para la final de la Liga de Campeones demuestran la pr xima generaci n de contenidos deportivos en vivo. Fueron creadas con la gran combinaci n de la velocidad y fiabilidad que estamos acostumbrados en los equipos EVS con bellas im genes creadas por resoluciones m s altas y colores m s ricos .
C-Cast
Adem s, BT Sport utiliz los servidores EVS XT3 para la producci n de 42 c maras HD, mientras que al mismo tiempo maximiz el valor de sus medios mediante el despliegue de la plataforma de distribuci n multimedia basada en cloud de EVS, C-Cast. Esta soluci n permite a los propietarios de contenido entregar activos desde el entorno EVS a m ltiples audiencias. BT Sport utiliz C-Cast para entregar repeticiones de c mara multi- ngulo directamente a la aplicaci n m vil del broadcaster. Los aficionados pudieron seguir las repeticiones casi en vivo en la aplicaci n enriqueciendo su experiencia de visionado.
En total, 35 servidores EVS de producci n en vivo fueron utilizados por diferentes broadcasters en todo el Estadio Nacional de Gales en Cardiff para esta final, donde el Real Madrid logr su duod cima Copa de Europa.
