VAV desplaz hasta la sede central del grupo Atresmedia en San Sebasti n de los Reyes su UM 21 4K de cara a dar servicio de recepci n y tratamiento de se al en Ultra Alta Definici n procedente de Cardiff donde se celebr el pasado s bado la final de la Champions League entre Real Madrid y Juventus. Esta unidad m vil hizo las veces de control de continuidad 4K para la recepci n de todas las se ales y posterior tratamiento para emisi n de programa de la final de Champions League en 4K.
Por vez primera, Atresmedia llev a cabo la retransmisi n de un encuentro de este calado en 4K de la web de Antena 3. Mediante un visor especial habilitado en su web para este partido. Por otro lado, gracias a la colaboraci n entre Atresmedia y Cellnex, el partido tambi n se pudo seguir de forma experimental, en resoluci n 4K a trav s de la TDT en tres puntos de la geograf a espa ola: Madrid, Barcelona y Sevilla.
Las mejoras en modulaci n y codificaci n aplicadas a esta transmisi n hicieron posible emitir en TDT con una resoluci n 4K (3840 x 2160 p xeles), lo que permiti a los espectadores ver la final de la Champions con 4 veces m s p xeles que la emisi n HD.
