A homoromantic has romantic attraction to members of the same gender or sex but does not necessarily have sexual attraction toward them.

It is part of romantic orientation which is:
the classification of the sex or gender with which a person experiences romantic attraction towards or is likely to have a romantic relationship with
Attraction is the keyword that is the sense of closeness, interest, or desire you feel toward someone.
Attraction ranges from sexual, physical, emotional, and even romantic attraction, these types of attraction differ with every person you meet.

We going to focus mainly on sexual and romantic attraction and how homoromantic attraction can go beyond just one sexuality.

Photo: Pexels Most people who identify as homosexual are also homoromantic, meaning they feel both romantically and sexually attracted to the same or a similar gender. However, one can have romantic feelings towards a particular person or gender while not feeling sexually attracted to them.
Homoromantic attraction is common in different sexual orientations even some heterosexual people experience homoromantic attraction.

HOMOROMANTIC VS HOMOSEXUAL VS BISEXUAL VS ASEXUAL
Homoromantic homosexual: A person who is both romantically and sexually attracted to the same or a similar gender.
Homoromantic heterosexual: A person who is romantically attracted to the same or a similar gender while only being sexually attracted to the opposite gender.
Homoromantic Bisexual: A person that is sexually attracted to both genders but emotionally/romantically attracted to people only of the same gender.
Homoromantic asexual: A person who is romantically attracted to the same or a similar gender but feels little to no sexual attraction to any gender

SIGNS YOU MAYBE HOMOROMANTIC
You have fallen in love with someone of the same gender but have no sexual attraction for them (often a best friend).
You don't feel a deep connection with the opposite gender despite you being sexually attracted to them.
You can imagine a long-term relationship with someone of the same sex.
