ES Broadcast Hire adds EVS XT-VIA UHD HDR production server to rental fleet

ES Broadcast Hire, the company's broadcast rental division, has added the state-of-the-art EVS XT-VIA UHD HDR production server to its roster. The EVS XT-VIA joins the existing XT4K, XT3 ChannelMAX and XT3 options in ES Broadcast Hire's line-up of production servers, meaning the company is able to service a comprehensive array of client requirements. It will be available to clients across Europe and in the US.

Designed for live sports Perfectly suited to live sports production, the XT-VIA offers users six UHD HDR or 12 HD channels, and can be software-configured in either 3G- or 12G-SDI mode. The server can also deliver two 8K channels, making it compatible with recently announced cameras that can be used for UHD crops from wider 8K shots, to get ultra-close to the action.
