IBC unveiled its annual Innovation Awards finalists Entre los nominados destaca el proyecto de RENFE para ofrecer a sus 19 millones de viajeros de l neas de alta velocidad contenidos premium. Telef nica ha liderado este proyecto en el que han participado tambi n Accedo, Cires21, Cisco, Hispasat, Iecisa, Indra, Nagra, Signiant y Teldat.
Los IBC 2017 Innovation Awards ya tienen finalistas. Demostrando una amplia innovaci n en la industria de media, el entretenimiento y la tecnolog a, un jurado internacional ha seleccionado un total de once finalistas de todo el mundo, ofreciendo soluciones muy diferentes.
Entre los finalistas encontramos una gran final de f tbol, eSports, estudios virtuales, channel marketing, OTT m vil o entrega de contenido en trenes de alta velocidad, entre otras reas de actuaci n.
Para este 2017, a o del cincuenta aniversario del IBC, la organizaci n ha modificado las categor as de estos Premios a la Innovaci n de cara a reflejar y responder al cambiante panorama de la industria. Se entregar n tres premios para los proyectos m s innovadores: Content Creation, Content Distribution y Content Everywhere. Lo que no ha cambiado es el nfasis en el trabajo colaborativo a la hora de plantear un proyecto.
Los ganadores en las tres categor as ser n anunciados en durante la ceremonia de entrega de premios en IBC 2017, a las 18:30 horas del domingo 17 de septiembre, en el Auditorio RAI.
Content Creation
ITV en el Reino Unido ha sido preseleccionada por su Proyecto Phoenix. El broadcaster necesitaba desarrollar un sistema que gestionara la producci n de promos y trailers desde la puesta en marcha hasta la transmisi n. El resultado crea m s de 1.000 activos de marketing cada mes, con casi todas las versiones realizadas autom ticamente. Los socios tecnol gicos junto con ITV fueron 100 Shapes, Cantemo, Codemill, NMR, Pixel Power y Vidispine.
Mediacorp ha implementado una arquitectura orientada a servicios para romper los silos en su sede central y crear un ambiente de producci n y entrega sin fisuras. Su nuevo centro incluye una redacci n de 3.000 metros cuadrados que produce noticias online, televisi n y radio en cuatro idiomas, junto con seis estudios y un gran auditorio, m s de 100 suites de edici n y OTT y transmisi n. El integrador de sistemas Qvest Media aport un gran n mero de socios tecnol gicos, incluyendo Actus, Adobe, ATCI, Autoscript, Avid, Axon, Baton, Blackmagic Design, Cisco, Dalet, DHD audio, EVS, Fairlight, Grass Valley, Harmonic, Hitachi, HP , IBM, Ihse, Lawo, Lund Halsey, Netia, Octopus, Oracle, Raritan, RCS, SAM, Scheduall, Shotoku, Sony, ST Electronics, Telestream, TriplePlay, TSL y Vizrt.

Arena Television es un proveedor ingl s que ha puesto en marcha su primera unidad m vil en un entorno IP. sta se emplea regularmente para originar la cobertura 4k Ultra HD de BT Sport de la Premier League inglesa. Los socios tecnol gicos de esta unidad (y otro que ahora tambi n est en servicio) han sido Cisco, Grass Valley, Lawo y Videlio Video Solutions.
La compa a de medios holandesa DMC ha migrado a una nube de radiodifusi n privada completamente virtualizada que proporciona a los clientes de DMC los servicios de gesti n de activos, publicaci n y distribuci n que necesitan, uniendo a los propietarios de contenido internacional con 700 millones de espectadores europeos. La nueva plataforma fue desarrollada con Cisco, Equinix, Pebble Beach Systems, Red Hat, Super Micro y VMware.
Sinclair Broadcast Group opera 233 canales en 108 mercados de Estados Unidos.
