V&A keynote heads up AV line-up at BVE 05

A keynote presentation by the head of digital media at the Victoria & Albert Museum and a host of new technology from NewTek, Groovy Gecko and others are among the highlights for AV professionals at BVE 2015. The show is taking place from 24-26 February 2015 at Excel in London.

Highlights in the seminar programme include the keynote session An exploration of the multiplatform strategy at the Victoria and Albert Museum', presented by the V&A's head of digital media Kati Price in the Connected Theatre. Price will discuss the museum's multimedia capabilities that provide a live' experience to visitors even if they are not able to visit in person. A panel discussion on Tools to creatively capture live audiences' in the Production Theatre will give invaluable advice on from leading broadcasters and production companies to gain and retain viewers, while a case study on Arsenal FC looks at using media to increase fan engagement and the challenges of live streaming.

Those wanting to learn more about the implications of producing 4K content should head to the 4K Theatre. Mark Grinyer, head of live production business development, Sony Professional Solutions Europe will examine the technology used to capture the highest profile events, while a panel will discuss the creative and cost benefits of capturing 4K for 2K and HD delivery. There will also be presentations of stunning 4K footage to enjoy.
