Embrionix At NAB Show 2018: Spotlight on 4K UHD IP Production

Embrionix is pleased to announce that at NAB Show 2018, the company will showcase new core IP processing (SMPTE ST2110/2022-6-7) and gateway solutions designed to optimize 4K UHD IP production. NEW EMBRIONIX SOLUTIONS AT NAB SHOW 2018

A). New Core Processing Solutions

1RU emMODULAR-48-8 IP aggregation/processing frame

Embrionix is excited to show a fully loaded, high density emMODULAR-48-8 moving 4K UHD over a 25GE network. The new emMODULAR's compact 1RU frame offers more than twice the density of other available solutions, supporting up to 80 x 4K UHD, or 96 x 3G miniaturized Embrionix gateways.

By efficiently and reliably aggregating and processing IP flows to/from two redundant core switches, this low-weight, low-footprint 1RU solution is perfect for production trucks. The emMODULAR also enables IP clean switching of any IP signal from one source to another.

B). New Compact Standalone IP Throwdown Boxes

emVIEW Now Supports 4K UHD

At NAB Show 2018 Embrionix will debut a new version of its modular emVIEW products. The emVIEW-U-DMI offers a compact form factor that installs directly on the back of an HDMI monitor and features frame sync, audio shuffling at the edge, support for 4K UHD and hitless redundancy. The emVIEW-U-2-DMI makes the most of a 25GE pipe by providing two distinct HDMI outputs to monitors. It is capable of receiving any type of senders, whether narrow or wide profile. Easy control is achieved through Ember+, RESTful or NMOS protocols.

New emFUSION -6 With Control of Up to 5 Unmanned Cameras

Also making its debut at NAB Show 2018 is the new emFUSION-6, a compact standalone gateway that permits remote control of up to five camera feeds and signal return over a single fiber link. The device also allows for remote control of camera pan/zoom/tilt parameters and includes two aggregation ports that can be used for link redundancy.

C). New emQUAD, emSFP-QUAD Multiviewers Enable Smart IP Monitoring

emQUAD - Embrionix is once again pushing the limits of miniaturization with the launch of the emQUAD, an extremely high-density, compact standalone multiviewer that creates a mosaic view from four SMPTE ST2110 streams. The emQUAD's miniature frame can be installed neatly on the back of any HDMI monitor to enable smart IP monitoring. The new multiviewer uses Embrionix Software Defined emSFP-QUAD technology inside to create a pristine mosaic view from four SMPTE ST2110 streams.

emSFP -QUAD - Embrionix also designed the 1RU emMODULAR frame to accommodate an impressive 48 x quad split views with the new pluggable emSFP-QUAD multiviewer. The emSFP-QUADs can also alternatively be plugged directly into already-installed standard 10GE IP switches, or deployed in standalone frames.

emVIEW-6 - In addition to the emQUAD and emSFP-QUAD, the company's emVIEW-6 can enable 4 x quad views from a compact throwdown box. The emVIEW-6's modular design allows for configuration with SDI or HDMI inputs or outputs.
