Monitor engineers now have the flexibility to take control of their individual monitor mixes using a rich user interface on an iPad, iPhone or iPod, and step away from the Avid mixing system to fine tune individual monitor mixes while on stage, hearing exactly what the performers hear.

Following the announcement at NAMM 2018, Avid is also giving live sound engineers the Waves SoundGrid tie-in they've been asking for. The new Waves SoundGrid High Density (WSG-HD) Option Card and Avid VENUE software update for the award-winning Avid VENUE | S6L delivers comprehensive hardware and software integration with Waves SoundGrid systems. This collaboration gives live sound engineers extensive tactile software control of plug-in parameters, full show file import from legacy Avid VENUE systems, vastly simplified setup, system redundancy, and greater flexibility.
