PHABRIX rapid rasterizer success PHABRIX continues to build on the success of its modular Rx rack mount test and measurement range which is rapidly being adopted world-wide as a main stay for broadcast test and measurement.

Available as a 2U integral dual screen variant Rx2000, the range also provides a 1U full rack width Rx1000 and half rack Rx500 rasterizer versions. The range can accept up to 4 modules providing 4 simultaneous channel analysis with 8 channel support available in 2013. A 1920 x 1080 screen output is available on each Rx as HDMI or SDI providing a multi-viewer of instruments with 16 simultaneous instruments on view at any time. This feature alone makes it ideal for OB, MCR and broadcast manufacturers who need instant access to multiple digital signal analysis.

Screens can be resized from sixteenth to quarter to full screen and with the ability to save over 99 presets and users have complete control over how each instrument can be displayed.

Key to the attraction for many broadcasters is the capability of the range to include different modules into the chassis. This allows both system integrators and customers to create a bespoke solution according to their present and future needs. Modules available include analyzers and generators or a single module combining both to provide a very cost effective solution. At NAB this year PHABRIX has announced the addition of a 4AES audio module board to complement the range with a 4K module available shortly. Additional functionality will be ASI support and the company has demonstrated this as a technology' demonstration at NAB.

PHABRIX has made a name for itself by offering high end capabilities like physical layer measurement (eye and jitter) at an entry level price. This along with a very intuitive user interface and easily accessible toolsets continues to win the company many friends in the industry.
