Arvato Systems uses CeBIT to raise awareness of IT as a career

Already a success at CeBIT 2016: Arvato Systems CMO Marcus Metzner with students at "erlebe IT".

(Arvato Systems) G tersloh/Hannover - Erlebe IT' is the BITKOM schools initiative for media skills, bringing together career guidance, recruitment, and retention. As partner and supporter of the initiative Arvato Systems is this is also involved in the BITKOM Activity Days at the Hannover CeBIT show.

The world's largest IT trade show is an ideal place to find out about current IT trends and to get information on opportunities for jobs, study and training. Hot topics this year include Virtual Reality, Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence and the Internet of Things. More than 100 employers - including Arvato - will be represented in the jobs & careers' section.

BITKOM Activity Days take this engagement a step further. In events aimed at schools, students are given an understanding of IT. The association uses presentations and tours of the show to inspire students and show them that IT is much more than just bits and bytes.

On behalf of Arvato Systems, CMO Marcus Metzner will give three presentations on both the Monday (March 20) and the Tuesday (March 21). As well as presenting the company, he will describe how digitalization influences our everyday life, and show how Information Technology can be a fascinating subject, leading to exciting job opportunities.

CeBIT visitors can find out about concrete opportunities to enter the IT industry at Arvato Stand B19 in Hall 11 where, from March 20 -24 there will be a full team available to talk to anyone who would like to find out more.

Erlebe IT is the BITKOM schools initiative. Since 2009 Erlebe IT has been working across Germany to promote digital skills in schools. The organization offers training sessions to promote skills in working with digital media, as well as programmer workshops which offer both technical information and fun with IT.
