NATAS to Stream Sports, News, and Documentary Emmy Awards Live on YouTube

The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) today announced that the 47th Annual Sports Emmy Awards and the 47th Annual News & Documentary Emmy Awards will stream live on YouTube, with YouTube celebrating the ceremonies as the Presenting Sponsor. NATAS also shared presenters across all three shows. Viewers can watch on the NATAS YouTube channel at youtube.com/@theemmys, with the Sports Emmy Awards airing May 26 and the News & Documentary Emmy Awards airing May 27 and 28, all at 7:00 PM EDT / 4:00 PM PDT.

Partnering with YouTube at this level for the first time allows us to put these ceremonies directly into the environment where so much of today's journalism and storytelling already lives, says Adam Sharp, President & CEO, NATAS. Presenters at the Sports Emmy Awards on May 26 will include Ian Eagle (CBS Sports), Rich Eisen (NFL Network), NBA Champion Dwight Howard, Brian Kenny (MLB Network), MLB Champion Pedro Martinez (TNT Sports), Colleen Wolfe (NFL Network), Nick Wright (FOX Sports), Andr s Cantor (Telemundo) and Pablo Torre (Pablo Torre Finds Out). Roy Wood Jr. returns to host the ceremony, and sports media executive Steve Bornstein will receive Lifetime Achievement honors.

The News categories of the News & Documentary Emmy Awards will be presented on May 27, and presenters will include Lisa Abramowicz (Bloomberg), Jason Bellini (Scripps), Jim Cantore (The Weather Channel), Jeremy Diamond (CNN), Johnny Harris (YouTube), Vanessa Hauc (Telemundo), Hallie Jackson (NBC News), Areva Martin ( The Special Report ), Camilo Montoya-Galvez (CBS News), Bill Owens (former 60 Minutes producer), former Lifetime Achievement recipient Jorge Ramos (YouTube), Maria Rozman (Spectrum Noticias) and Natasha Zouves (NewsNation). Amber Ruffin will host the ceremony, Suzanne Kianpour (Helmet to Heels) will serve as the special red carpet correspondent, and ABC's Debra OConnell will present Lifetime Achievement honors to Emmy and Peabody-winning ABC News correspondent Martha Raddatz.

Presenters for the Documentary categories of the News & Documentary Emmy Awards on May 28 will include director Serena Davies, producer Stephanie Jenkins, Cynthia Lopez (New York Women in Film & Television), Tiler Peck ( Tiler Peck: Suspending Time ) and documentarian Simon Schama. Michael Ian Black will host the ceremony, and Emmy-winning documentarian and Academy Award-nominated filmmaker Sam Pollard will receive Lifetime Achievement honors.

Each ceremony will be held at Jazz at Lincoln Center's Frederick P. Rose Hall, Broadway at 60th Street, New York City. The firm of Lutz & Carr, LLP, provides accounting services for the competition.
