BBC Studios and Post Production takes Watchdog to The Hospital Club 15 Apr 2013

As part of relocation plans during the redevelopment of Television Centre, BBC Studios and Post Production has joined forces with The Hospital Club to host the long-running BBC consumer affairs series, Watchdog. Production begins on Watchdogs 32nd series at the Covent Garden-based studios in May 2013 and will run for eight weeks.

BBC Studios and Post Production will continue to provide technical and production services to the makers of Watchdog and will work alongside The Hospital Clubs operational team to ensure production continues to receive the same high levels of service. We're excited about collaborating with other facility providers like The Hospital Club while we are away from Television Centre and look forward to working with the Watchdog team again on the new series said Charlotte Forde, commercial manager at BBC Studios and Post Production.

Lisa Ausden, executive producer of Watchdog said, We'll miss Television Centre it's a very special place but in its 33 years, Watchdog has seen a lot of change. What remains constant is the programme's unique relationship with its audience, and its ability to give consumers a powerful voice. We're really looking forward to continuing that mission when we start broadcasting from our new home .

Sam Dunlop, studio manager at The Hospital Club said, Its a great privilege to be welcoming one of the BBC's most renowned programmes to the Hospital Club Studio, and working alongside BBC Studios and Post Production, we're looking forward to working with Lisa and her team to deliver another strong series of Watchdog.
