Story Highlights
The 2025 FIFA Club World Cup is underway in the U.S., and DAZN - known here mostly as a streaming outfit - is making a major statement not just to soccer fans but to the sports-broadcasting industry. With exclusive rights to stream all 63 matches globally (and for free), the company is throwing its full production muscle behind this new marquee property in a way that redefines its presence in the U.S.

At the heart of the production effort is a cross-continental, multi-language, broadcaster-collaborative operation anchored in Studio J at TNT Sports' Techwood Studios in Atlanta - an iconic home for sports television, best known to U.S. audiences as the studio for Inside the NBA. The facility has been completely reimagined by DAZN for the Club World Cup, providing a base for a production that spans cities, countries, and hemispheres.
The excitement is real. Just sitting here in the control room in Atlanta, watching production rehearsals, and seeing our studio come to life, it hits home how massive this event is, says Nick Turner, SVP, Production, DAZN. There's a buzz throughout the entire team. We know how important this tournament is to fans globally, and we're proud to bring it to them in such an ambitious way - especially knowing that every single match is free to watch on DAZN.com.
A Bold, Global Production at Scale The scope of the project is unlike anything DAZN has attempted before in the States. In addition to producing 60 English-language broadcasts from Atlanta, the company is working in lockstep with TNT Sports and TUDN, which will exclusively air 24 and 19 matches, respectively.
This is one of the largest productions we've ever taken on - in both scale and collaboration, says Turner. We're producing multilingual studio shows and commentary for a global audience, and viewers can access all 63 matches for free, without a subscription. That level of open access is rare for a tournament of this scale.
The production isn't just broad; it's deep. The studio presentation boasts an A-list lineup of talent, both in front of and behind the camera. Complementing the studio and commentary teams are 32 embedded reporters - one for each club - who provide exclusive behind-the-scenes access throughout the tournament. Many of these journalists already cover their respective teams for DAZN in international markets, bringing a level of authenticity and insider knowledge that raises the editorial bar.
Their insight is unmatched, says Turner. It's going to bring a new depth to coverage, especially for our U.S. viewers.
A United Front With TNT Sports and TUDN One of the more unusual aspects of the production is DAZN's collaboration with TNT Sports and TUDN, two major players in U.S. sports media. Turner describes the relationship as a true game-changer, and it's clear that the synergy between the teams has been pivotal.
Working with the TNT team has been a real highlight, says Turner. We're aligned creatively and share a vision for what this coverage should feel like: premium, informative, and full of personality.
DAZN's Nick Turner: This is one of the largest productions we've ever taken on - in both scale and collaboration.
DAZN is tapping into TNT's technical infrastructure and production crew, blending it seamlessly with DAZN's global broadcast talent and editorial oversight. In Spanish-language markets, DAZN and TUDN are co-producing full studio wraparound coverage for all 63 matches, driven by an equally deep bench of Spanish-speaking analysts and hosts.
The result is a tightly coordinated, multi-country production effort with key control points across Atlanta, Miami, and DAZN hubs around the world. The company has also established a dedicated DAZN Match Centre in the U.S., where it manages and distributes feeds - including HDR streams - for all matches to partners and end-users.
Behind the scenes, there's real-time coordination across multiple cities, Turner explains. I'm sitting here now hearing the TNT director speak directly with the DAZN Match Centre producer, while the Voice of God' cues commercials across markets. It's a finely tuned, multi-country operation.
Building Around the World Feed Although FIFA and host-broadcast partner HBS are producing the world feed for each match, DAZN has been involved from the outset, working with FIFA to fine-tune the broadcast experience. According to Turner, DAZN EVP, Content Quim Domenich has been instrumental in shaping the editorial voice of the tournament coverage.
We've collaborated closely on everything from the world-feed running order to graphics packages and production enhancements like player walkouts and water breaks, says Turner. It's a true partnership.
The HDR-enabled feeds, optimized specifically for DAZN subscribers, are a point of pride - particularly as U.S. audiences have come to expect high-end video quality. And, with DAZN streaming globally, this production isn't just about meeting U.S. standards; it's about elevating the global benchmark.
A Local Presence for the End of the Tourney The early rounds are handled from Atlanta, but DAZN will shift operations to MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ for the Semifinals and the Final on July 13. The full onsite crew - from production trucks to on-air talent - will be present to close out the tournament in style.
