Integrated video solutions from ingest to players
Vualto, global specialists in innovative content delivery and management, is attending BVE 2015 to demonstrate its vuworkflow and vuplay solutions for online video.
Using the vuworkflow toolset, Vualto is able to build custom video delivery workflows that integrate with existing customer systems. Its workflow is based on the Unified Streaming platform, allowing it to deliver live, VOD, download and catch-up solutions tailored to the exacting needs of the client. Vualto's vuplay offering provides DRM enabled players, apps and full WebTV platforms that work across devices.
On display at BVE 2015 will be Vualto's new set of DRM-enabled player SDKs. These include DASH, Silverlight, OSMF, IOS and Android Player and are all underpinned by a single API.
In addition, Vualto will show THEOplayer, the next generation player which uses HTML5 to play HLS formatted content on any player without the need for plug-ins like Flash or Silverlight. It means content owners can create a common look and feel across all browsers and mobile apps, while still feeding the content from a single stream. This is a huge simplification for the content owner, while giving its audience a better experience.
Vualto brings together its unrivalled in-house experience with the best of third-party technology. This allows it to rapidly develop highly tailored solutions to meet the requirements of any client, however large their video archive. It can create a unified, seamless system even down to designing branded players for browsers and apps and monetise it, said Camilla Young, CEO of Vualto. What we do is make that simple. Vualto is unique in its combination of video and IT skills and experience, which means we can quickly grasp the requirements and build tailored solutions to meet them.
With the growth in the number of devices, protection schemes and streaming formats it can seem like the difficulties are growing exponentially, she added. We have developed our core products specifically to minimise the impact of these huge challenges, allowing our users to manage their content through a simple portal, and ensuring that it is delivered to their consumers in pristine condition, protected by the most robust DRM, yet available to all on any device.
Vualto is exhibiting at BVE 2015 (Excel, London, 24 26 February) on stand N50.
