LES STARS SUR LA CROISETTE AU MIPTV 2013
Paris, le 2 avril 2013 Thandie Newton, Famke Janssen, Gene Simmons, Eli Roth, Christophe Lambert, Clotilde Courau, Mark Strong, Max Irons, Caterina Murino, Tom Riley et Lennie James font partie des stars qui seront prsentes au MIPTV 2013, organis par Reed MIDEM du 8 au 11 avril, Cannes.
Le tapis rouge sera droul le lundi 8 avril entre 19h et 20h30 devant lhtel Martinez pour accueillir les stars et les invits de marque la Soire dOuverture du MIPTV (19h30) ainsi qu la crmonie des International Digital Emmy Awards (20h45).
Lactrice anglaise et star internationale Thandie Newton (Collision, Beloved, Mission: Impossible II, Urgences) sera Cannes pour prsenter la nouvelle srie de Entertainment One (eOne) Rogue, coproduite par Greenroom Entertainment. Thandie Newton sera accompagne par le crateur de la srie, galement scnariste et producteur, Matthew Parkhill (The Caller, Dot the I), ainsi que par son producteur excutif et coralisateur Nick Hamm (Killing Bono, The Hole). La rock star de lgende Gene Simmons accompagnera lquipe de eOne au MIPTV.
En provenance dHollywood, lactrice Famke Janssen (X-Men, Goldeneye, Taken, Nip/Tuck) foulera la Croisette et prsentera la nouvelle srie de Gaumont International Hemlock Grove la presse et aux acheteurs internationaux. Elle sera escorte par le producteur excutif de la srie, lacteur et ralisateur Eli Roth (Inglorious Basterds, Hostel, Grindhouse) et lacteur sudois Bill Skarsgrd (Anna Karenine, Simon and the Oaks). Hemlock Grove sera diffus par Netflix aux Etats-Unis en avril.
Les stars franaises Christophe Lambert (Highlander, Le sicilien, Greystoke) et Clotilde Courau (La mme, Le petit criminel, Cur de mtisse) prsenteront le prochain vnement de France Tlvisions, La Source. Distribue linternational par Newen Distribution au MIPTV, cette srie despionnage est ralise par Xavier Durringer. Les acteurs Edouard Montoute (Femme Fatale) et Flore Bonaventura (Commissaire Magellan) se joindront lquipe au MIPTV.
La nouvelle srie de Starz Da Vincis Demons sera prsente en tant que World Premiere TV Screening au MIPTV le lundi 8 avril, en prsence du scnariste, producteur excutif et coralisateur David S. Goyer coscnariste de la trilogie The Dark Knight trilogy et de Man of Steel ainsi que des acteurs britanniques Tom Riley (Monroe, Arcadia, Bouquet of Barbed Wire), Laura Haddock (Les boloss-Inbetweeners, Missing), Lara Pulver (True Blood, MI-5), et Blake Ritson (Rockn Rolla, Week-end royal). La srie raconte lhistoire mconnue de Leonardo Florence, pendant la Renaissance. Elle est produite par Adjacent Productions pour Starz et elle est commercialise linternational par BBC Worldwide.
Coproduite par Endemol Studios et AMC Studios, la srie Low Winter Sun raconte une histoire contemporaine de crimes, de revanche et de corruption, quand sefface la frontire entre policiers et criminels. Fonde sur luvre dHomre et interprte par lactrice italienne Caterina Murino (Casino Royale, Lenqute corse), la nouvelle srie The Odyssey rvle le ct le plus sombre de la grande histoire de la mythologie greque. Prsente par 100% Distribution et Studio Hamburg, et produite par Makingprod et GMT Studio, cette nouvelle coproduction europenne (Arte, Rai, RTP) est distribue par 100% Distribution International.
Le premier pisode de la srie de Starz The White Queen sera projet au MIPTV en prsence de lacteur britannique Max Irons (The Host, Red Riding Hood) et de lauteur Philippa Gregory (Deux surs pour un roi, A Respectable Trade). Son compatriote Anthony Horowitz (Inspecteur Barnaby, Injustice) est le scnariste de la srie de ITV Foyles War, presente au MIPTV par All3Media, en prsence de lactrice anglaise actress Honeysuckle Weeks (My Brother Tom, The Bill).
Le scnariste et producteur excutif amricain Edward Allen Bernero (Esprits criminels, Third Watch) prsentera la srie de Tamdem Communications Crossing Lines, en compagnie des acteurs Tom Wlaschiha (Le trne de fer) et Gabriella Pession (Ferdinando and Carolina). Lancien champion de tennis franais Henri Leconte, cofondateur de la socit de production 2L Prod, prsentera la srie consacre aux voyages et rencontres travers le monde Looking For Et lhomme qui est tomb du ciel aprs une chute de 39 km le 14 October 2012, sous la supervision de Red Bull Media House , Felix Baumgartner atterrira sur le tapis rouge de la Soire douverture du MIPTV 2013, le lundi 8 avril.
