Go Shop celebrates its 5th Anniversary with more than 2 million customers and storewide discounts

Go Shop, a multi-platform lifestyle shopping service in Malaysia is celebrating its 5th Anniversary from 28 October to 30 November 2019 with exclusive deals and discounts. Go Shop started in 2014 as Astro's first foray into the e-commerce domain, enabling Malaysians to shop anytime, anywhere 24/7 via any mobile, tablet and PC of their choice. Today, Go Shop is the No. 1 home shopping platform in Malaysia with presence in Singapore and Brunei offering the convenience of free shipping in Malaysia including Sabah and Sarawak.
Since launch, Go Shop has seen rapid growth and has achieved key milestones such as; more than 2 million registered customers, over 6 million orders with 6.8 million products sold ranging from household, kitchen, fashion and beauty products. Go Shop's new mobile app has also garnered 1 million app downloads and its website has an average of 2 million monthly online visitors.

We remain focused on continuing to grow our customer reach and we're happy to announce that Go Shop's channel in Bahasa Malaysia is now available on free-to-air through myFreeview channel 120 thus expanding our reach to 7.4 million households with an addressable audience of 17 million individuals aged above 18. Our strong collaboration with over 700 SME partners allows us to deliver the best products with differentiated value bundles to our customers .
Today, Malaysian partners on Go Shop account for 95% of our total revenue. We welcome more local SME and young entrepreneurs who perhaps already started on a stockist model and wants to get a wider reach across Malaysia, to work with us. Go Shop is also the go-to destination for various exclusive Korean products, via a solid partnership with our Korean partner, GS Home Shopping Inc. Dr Grace Lee added.
As more Malaysians shift towards a digitally connected lifestyle, Go Shop intends to double its digital users by way of continued investments to digitalise its business, building up new digital capabilities as well as enhancing its digital platform.
As part of Go Shop's 5th Anniversary campaign, Go Shop had its 5th Anniversary Live Party today with Go Shop hosts and local celebrities such as Dato' Sri Siti Nurhaliza, Linda Onn, Datin Fouziah Gous, Dato' Sri Aliff Syukri, Datin Sri Nur Shahida and Yana Samsudin. Customers can also participate in our Snatch & Shop Game on Go Shop app every Friday where they can grab cash coupons to shop on Go Shop. Go Shop is also giving away 25,000 Go Points where customers can shop to be the top spenders and win weekly Go Points. In addition, customers are able to redeem a free gift when they shop and spend above RM 300 in a single receipt.
