SNS Launches New S3-Compatible Cloud Storage Service

Studio Network Solutions (SNS) announces the launch of Trio, a new S3-compatible cloud storage service fully integrated with EVO for media backup, archival, and disaster recovery workflows.

Natively integrated with EVO and the EVO Suite of software tools, Trio provides a secure, S3-compatible platform to streamline three critical workflows for media teams:

Trio for Cloud Backup

Using EVO's built-in Slingshot automations engine, users can schedule recurring replication jobs directly from their EVO server to Trio for secure, automated cloud backups. Users can also initiate non-recurring replication jobs to sync media to the cloud on demand.

Trio for Cloud Archive

Users can manage their archived media in Trio directly from EVO's built-in ShareBrowser media asset manager (MAM). Editors can send completed projects, files, and folders to Trio to reclaim valuable space on their EVO for active and upcoming work. Even after content is securely archived and removed from EVO, your team retains the ability to preview the archived media in ShareBrowser. This enhanced visibility allows users to audition and restore only the exact files they need, avoiding unnecessary restoration of archived media.

Trio for Disaster Recovery

Engineered for security and stability, Trio offers multiple layers of data protection from encryption and immutability to global distribution to protect against single points of failure. If data recovery is required, Trio is built to restore data efficiently, without excessive fees.

Trio is currently available as an extension of the EVO ecosystem and as a standalone cloud storage service from SNS. Monthly pricing includes secure cloud storage, technical support, S3 compatibility, native EVO integration, and egress equal to the user's cloud storage volume.
