RIVIERA' TO HAVE MIPTV WORLD PREMIERE TV SCREENING

Paris, 21st February 2017 - Sky Vision's brand new thriller series Riviera will, fittingly, have its World Premiere TV Screening on the French Riviera at MIPTV 2017.

MIPTV 2017, the spring's biggest TV and digital content event for professionals, takes place in Cannes, France from 3-6 April. The World Premiere TV Screening is scheduled for 3 April at 6.30pm in the Grand Auditorium of the Palais des Festivals.

Riviera is an intoxicating thriller set on the opulent C te d'Azur, playground of the world's super-rich. The sun-drenched luxury of the South of France provides a deceptive backdrop for the dazzling depravity of the morally ambiguous characters, locked in a web of complex relationships.

Julia Stiles plays Georgina, a Midwestern US girl turned resourceful wife of billionaire art collector Constantine Clios. When her husband is killed in an explosion aboard the yacht of a mysterious Russian oligarch, she sets out to uncover what happened and discovers a world of lies, double-dealing and criminality.

Riviera , a Sky Original Production, will be shown exclusively on Sky Atlantic in the UK, Ireland, Italy, Germany and Austria in 2017. The series is produced by Archery Pictures and Primo Productions, with worldwide sales handled by Sky Vision.

Stiles and her co-stars Lena Olin (Academy Award nominee), Adrian Lester ( Undercover ) and Dimitri Leonidas ( Monuments Men ) are due to be in Cannes to promote the show, along with executive producers Liza Marshall and Paul McGuinness (on whose original idea the series is based), plus series producer Foz Allen. Riviera also stars Iwan Rheon ( Game of Thrones ), Amr Waked and Roxane Duran ( White Ribbon ).
