Euro Media Group integrates two Sony PWS-4500 servers for live production of 4K UHD Los servidores se utilizar n en la unidad m vil CTV de la empresa EMG, con sede en Reino Unido, para la producci n de pr ximos eventos en 4K/UHD.

Euro Media Group (EMG) ha instalado dos servidores de reproducci n e ingesta PWS-4500 de Sony como parte de su plan para diversificar la oferta actual de soluciones de grabaci n y c mara lenta.

Tras utilizarse satisfactoriamente para la grabaci n original en HDR UHD de conciertos y eventos de categor a, el PWS-4500 de Sony se utilizar en la unidad m vil CTV de la empresa EMG, con sede en Reino Unido, para la producci n de pr ximos eventos en 4K/UHD.

Ronald Meyvisch, director t cnico de EMG, se ala que durante la ltima d cada, nos hemos centrado demasiado en una nica soluci n para la reproducci n de eventos deportivos en directo y la digitalizaci n de contenido. Aunque hemos estado satisfechos con el uso de nuestros servidores actuales y continuaremos utiliz ndolos, sabemos que actualmente hay herramientas con capacidades de rendimiento superiores, adaptables al flujo de trabajo actual que demandan nuestros clientes. Consideramos que es nuestra responsabilidad explorar y emplear esas nuevas alternativas en distintos tipos de producciones con el fin de conocer sus puntos fuertes y explic rselos a nuestros clientes .

En NAB 2017, Sony anunci varias mejoras en las caracter sticas actuales del PWS-4500. Entre ellas, se inclu an la estaci n de gesti n de contenidos PWS-110CM,que permite a los usuarios buscar de manera f cil y eficaz contenido que puede transferirse para su entrega sin problemas.

Norbert Paquet, responsable de marketing estrat gico de Sony Professional Solutions Europe, subraya que el PWS-4500 responde a las necesidades de empresas como Euro Media Group, que busca una soluci n de servidor s lida, flexible y vers til para producciones en UHD, pero que tambi n necesita seguir produciendo contenidos en HD. Estamos encantados de trabajar a trav s de esta amplia colaboraci n para crear una plataforma de producci n con tecnolog a de futuro aceptada por operadores, t cnicos y productores .

Junto con Sony, EMG ha establecido un programa de formaci n interno sobre el nuevo equipo para permitir que tanto los equipos de campo como los clientes puedan formarse de forma aut noma en las ltimas tecnolog as y su funcionamiento. Antes de que acabe el a o, EMG pretende ampliar el uso del PWS-4500 a otras empresas del grupo.
