KDDI announced the financial results for the fiscal year ended March 2017.

Summary In the fiscal year ended March 31, 2017, consolidated operating revenue increased 6.3% year on year, to 4,748.3 billion. Consolidated operating income was up 9.7%, to 913.0 billion mainly due to driving the increase of profit by domestic business.

We plan to raise the year-end dividends per share up 5 from the initial forecast, to 85 for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2017 (for the 15 consecutive years).

To achieve our medium-term plan,toward the fiscal year ending March 31, 2019 (CAGR [1] 7% growth in operating income and dividend payout ratio over 35%),

the Company projects a consolidated operating revenue of 4,950.0 billion (yoy 4.2%) and an operating income of 950.0billion (yoy 4.1%) for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2018.

We also plan dividends per share of 90 (dividend payout ratio 39.2%,yoy 5) for the year as well.

And the board of directors of KDDI Corporation at its meeting held on today,resolved that we will repurchase its own shares up to 100 billion yen.
