TNDV Supports Passion Conference 2026 with Cinematic Live Production Workflow

TNDV, a division of Live Media Group, delivered broadcast and live event product services for Passion 2026, marking the company's 17th year supporting the annual faith-based gathering, which was held at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas.

Working from its flagship Aspiration35 mobile production unit, TNDV put forth several workflow advancements, including one of the industry's largest live deployments of ARRI Alexa 35 Live cinema cameras which it announced last year.

For the event, TNDV deployed 15 camera chains, including 14 ARRI Alexa 35 Live systems and one ARRI Alexa LF supporting wire-cam coverage. The production used 11 active Alexa 35 Live systems at the same time, representing one of the most extensive uses of the platform in a live event environment.

The cinema camera workflow delivered enhanced depth of field, color reproduction, and dynamic range compared to traditional broadcast cameras, helping elevate visual quality for both in-person audiences and distributed program feeds. TNDV partnered with dbVRentals to supply the camera systems and lenses, allowing the production to deliver a fully integrated capture-to-broadcast solution.

In addition to video production, TNDV expanded its role this year by supporting broadcast audio production from within the Aspiration35 unit. By integrating audio mixing into the mobile production environment using the truck's onboard console, the workflow reduced external equipment requirements and simplified signal routing from the front-of-house mix.

Aspiration35 supported two simultaneous productions: a dedicated IMAG program feeding in-venue displays and a separate broadcast program distributed internally and archived for replay. Both productions operated from a shared switcher infrastructure while maintaining independent production teams, graphics systems, and intercom communication paths. Customized intercom routing enabled camera operators to receive direction from separate IMAG and broadcast teams.

To support production operations throughout the stadium, TNDV engineers deployed 38 monitoring positions across stage, front-of-house, backstage, accessibility viewing areas, and specialty operator locations. Leveraging the venue's SMPTE ST 2110-based signal distribution architecture, the team minimized cabling requirements while improving deployment speed and routing flexibility.

The production captured content in 4K at 23.98 fps while delivering program feeds in 1080p 59.94, allowing the production to maintain a cinematic visual aesthetic while meeting live broadcast distribution standards. The workflow also incorporated live color grading within the signal pipeline to maintain consistent image quality across outputs.
