The Speakers' radio series follows characters including Woof' and Subbo' as they discover the different ways they can get a new music track and a radio play heard by their audience.
Each of the eight four-minute programmes explains a different part of the process of getting sound from its original source to listeners' devices, including radios, TVs and mobiles. The series is aimed at children aged 8 to 12 whose inquisitive minds may just be developing an interest in how things work..
The first show will be broadcast at 3pm on Monday, 06 February on Fun Kids radio. A new episode will be broadcast each day, and the series will be available to listen again on the Fun Kids website and App, and for free download through iTunes.
The series will be launched with a competition. Details of the competition will be available on the Fun Kids website at www.funkidslive.com

Speakers' will be heard first on Fun Kids radio - which broadcasts nationally on the Sound Digital (D2) DAB network - from Monday 06 February 2017, and afterwards on www.funkidslive.com and on iTunes.
