Accedo Enhances Multiscreen Video Viewing with VIA 2.0 Stockholm, 3rd February 2015

Accedo, the global market leader in TV application solutions, has launched the latest version of Accedo VIA, the award-winning multiscreen product.

Accedo VIA is a state of the art application solution, which enables operators, media companies, and broadcasters to launch full-featured multiscreen services quickly and efficiently across multiple connected platforms, including PCs, Mobiles, Tablets, Smart TVs, and Game Consoles.

Accedo VIA 2.0 includes a number of important feature enhancements, aimed at providing a better cross-platform experience. The latest version enables viewers to watch and manage their favourite video content continuously, even when switching between devices during video playback. It also enhances second screen interaction, with full Chromecast support as well as integration possibilities for other technologies.

Accedo VIA 2.0 includes an updated user interface, with improved content browsing and viewing capabilities. Moreover, the new update enhances both performance and scalability, using modern cloud and web technologies to enable scalable deployments to millions of users.

Accedo AppGrid , Accedo's application management platform, and a key component of Accedo VIA, has also been upgraded to include an intuitive web dashboard, for easy configuration and analysis of multiscreen applications in real time.
