FICARQ 2017: Santander joins new cinema and architecture in a single festival En esta edici n, que tendr lugar del 4 al 8 de julio, el Premio Puente entre las artes 2017 lo recibir n Patricia Urquiola y Manuel Guti rrez Arag n.
El V Festival Internacional de Cine y Arquitectura (FICARQ) vuelve a repetir sede en Santander del 4 al 8 de julio.
FICARQ 2017, por quinto a o consecutivo, busca profundizar en la conexi n entre el discurso arquitect nico y el audiovisual desde un mbito art stico, riguroso y creativo. La arquitectura se apoya en el cine como base para sus creaciones, mientras que el cine utiliza la arquitectura para que el director juegue a su antojo con un espacio, un tiempo y un movimiento.
El comit organizador del festival ha resuelto conceder el premio Puente entre las artes 2017 a Patricia Urquiola y a Manuel Guti rrez Arag n. Estos galardones que FICARQ entrega anualmente, premian la trayectoria de aquellos creadores que desde lo arquitect nico o lo audiovisual, han logrado trascender los lenguajes que les son propios, realizando as , una aportaci n significativa al mundo de la cultura y de las artes.
Urquiola recibir el premio por sus excelentes trabajos en los campos del dise o, la arquitectura y la direcci n creativa, que le han situado en lo m s alto del escalaf n internacional. Por su parte, el festival destaca de Guti rrez Arag n su impecable trabajo como guionista y escritor y el papel que representa su figura en la historia audiovisual de Espa a.
La entrega de estos premios, as como, la de los distintos galardones de las secciones oficiales, tendr lugar en el acto de clausura que se desarrollar en el Paraninfo y Palacio de la Magdalena, el s bado 8 de julio.
FICARQ contar en su programaci n con un total de 40 proyecciones entre ficci n y documental a concurso y fuera de concurso, procedentes de m s de 20 pa ses.
La Secci n Oficial a competici n en sus dos convocatorias: Arte en el S ptimo arte, secci n oficial de competici n de largometrajes de ficci n, y Arquitecturas Filmadas, secci n oficial de competici n de documentales, ofrece una selecci n de las mejores obras presentadas, con un total de 29 pel culas a competici n.
El Festival tendr lugar en varios espacios emblem ticos de Santander por su historia y su tradici n, en los que se realizar el grueso de las exhibiciones cinematogr ficas, ponencias y galas de inauguraci n y clausura: Espacio Ricardo Lorenzo del Colegio Oficial de Arquitectos (COACAN), como sede principal, el Anfiteatro del Centro Bot n (Edificio Renzo Piano), con proyecciones nocturnas, la Escuela T cnica Superior de N utica, los Cines Groucho y el Paraninfo y Palacio de la Magdalena.
