Custom Consoles marks its 23rd anniversary with a completely new version of the company s www.customconsoles.co.uk website, offering faster than ever access to information about its wide range of technical furniture. Structured to allow easy navigation, it highlights the company s five key market sectors: Broadcast, Transport, Security/Defence, Process Control and Network Operation Control. Single-click access to products, news, photo gallery and corporate information are available from a drop-down menu at the head of every page.
The redesigned website provides descriptions, dimensions and sample illustrations of the company s entire product range in four quickly navigable sections: Control Room Furniture (Module-R, Module-R Lite, Custom), Ergonomic Furniture (SystemTwo, SystemTwo Lite, EditOne), Technical Desks (Steelbase, Steelbase Lite, MDesk-Technical) and Accessories (MediaWall, Chairs, Monitor Arms).
"When we commenced operations in 1996, we built our name on the design and manufacture of project-specific furniture for a client base including major European broadcasters, comments Custom Consoles' co-founder Neil Reed. "Increasing pressure on timescales and budgets encouraged us to develop the Module-R pick-and-mix range of technical furniture which we introduced in 2006."
"We have continued to expand the Module-R series in line with the customer demand. Module-R components come in a selection of finishes and allow complete desks to be delivered from stock in 10 to 15 days. Module-R s high robustness, excellent ergonomics and attractive styling have been recognised by clients around world."
"Our experience in the broadcast sector led to the creation of a wide range of industrial process control products suitable for the demanding environments of the energy, chemical and mining industries. Our SteelBase furniture has been installed in control facilities at the CERN Large Hadron Collider and since specified by many other scientific research organisations. All our products are designed, built and tested to meet all current European legislation for ergonomic and structural integrity while still ensuring that they please the eye."
Custom Consoles Ltd (www.customconsoles.co.uk) is an ISO 9001 certified manufacturer of project-specific and modular broadcast, process-control and security furniture. The product range includes motorised, manually-adjustable and fixed-height units plus fan-cooled sound-insulated equipment housings. Custom Consoles operates from a 1,200 square metre UK-based production facility equipped with 3D computer-aided-design facilities, computer-controlled cutting machinery and a thermoform press. These resources provide the dual benefits of precise quality control and prompt delivery times, typically 21 days from receipt of order. Custom Consoles clients include broadcasters, production and post-production studios, governmental and corporate organisations in Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Australasia.
