Gunnar Wiedenfels and Ralf Schremper Appointed to the ProSiebenSat.1 Executive Board Axel Salzmann to leave the company at his own request on March 31, 2015

Munich, September 10, 2014. Dr. Gunnar Wiedenfels (37) and Dr. Ralf Schremper (42) will be appointed to the Executive Board of ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG as of April 1, 2015. Gunnar Wiedenfels will become Chief Financial Officer. Dr. Ralf Schremper will assume the newly created Corporate Strategy and Investments executive department. Axel Salzmann (55) will leave the company at his own request on March 31, 2015. He has been CFO of ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG since June 2008; from January to March 2009 he was acting CEO.

Dr. Werner Brandt, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG: I am delighted that again two colleagues from the companys ranks, Dr. Gunnar Wiedenfels and Dr. Ralf Schremper, will be appointed to the Executive Board of ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG. Both have been contributing to the companys success for years. On behalf of the Supervisory Board, I thank Axel Salzmann warmly for his outstanding commitment to ProSiebenSat.1. In recent years, Mr. Salzmann has made a crucial contribution to putting the company on todays sound financial foundation.

In the last six years, he has ensured that ProSiebenSat.1 has stood on an extraordinarily solid financial foundation and has thus created an important basis of trust in the capital market. We will continue building on this basis in future and adhere to our present growth philosophy and the financing principles communicated previously. We thus believe that we are right on track to achieve our medium-term growth targets by 2018.

Before Dr. Gunnar Wiedenfels joined the ProSiebenSat.1 Group in 2009, he worked for six years as a management consultant and engagement manager at McKinsey & Company. At ProSiebenSat.1, he first worked in the Executive Boards Strategy division. From March 2010 to November 2011, he was responsible for Group-wide budget planning, budget controlling, and management reporting as Deputy Group Controller. From February 2011, he also had commercial responsibility for the Groups German-speaking free TV segment as CFO National. In 2012, he was also appointed to the management of TV Deutschland GmbH and named Chief Group Controller. He has been Deputy CFO since March 2014.

Until 2009, Dr. Ralf Schremper worked for Bertelsmann AG, where he most recently headed corporate development. Since 2010, he has been Executive Vice President of Mergers & Acquisitions at ProSiebenSat.1. In addition, in 2011 he was first Head of Group Controlling and then CFO and Managing Director of the Red Arrow Entertainment Group. In March 2013, he took on the role of CFO and Managing Director of Digital & Adjacent in addition to his M&A activities. He has been Chief Investment Officer since April 2014.
