KUALA LUMPUR, 17 March Astro customers can now enjoy the FIFA Interactive World Cup 2016 (FIWC 2016) Final Showdown for FREE on Astro SuperSport Plus Channel 808 and Astro on the Go on 23rd March, 2016. This broadcast signifies one of the first FIFA Interactive World Cup 2016 to be shown LIVE on television in South East Asia. Viewers can enjoy the Final showdown match in High Definition on Astro and on multiple devices anytime, anywhere via Astro on the Go. The FIFA 16 championships will pit 32 grand finalists in for the grand prize of USD 20,000 cash and a trip to the FIFA Ballon d'Or to meet with footballing greats.

Marking the twelfth year of the championship, FIFA Interactive World Cup 2016 (FIWC 2016) heads to The Apollo Theater, New York where 32 grand finalists worldwide who have qualified via online qualifications on both Playstation Network and Xbox Live will face off until the Final showdown which will decide 2016's FIFA 16 champion. FIWC 2016 Final showdown kicks off at 6am on 23rd March, 2016.
