Ventuz Release 4.05 - Multichannel Director
Update to the newest release of Ventuz 4 for multichannel support in Ventuz Director, an improved Shaping Editor, and much more.
Multichannel Broadcasting
At the center of this release stands the full integration of multichannel broadcasting using Ventuz Director. This allows the operator to control multiple layered templates as separate entities, whether they are rendered by a single machine or multiple systems, on video walls, touchscreens or on-air. In addition Ventuz Director now supports an advanced logic mechanism to control how graphics are triggered and played out, which serves as an easy alternative to working with a large number of pre-produced pages, especially in live environments. Of course, if a page-based approach is required, Ventuz Director offers a very flexible workflow for these demands as well.

Furthermore, MOS integration has been greatly improved with support for market leaders in the News Room Computer Systems (NRCS) market, like Avid iNEWS, AP ENPS and VSN. With the new release Ventuz offers a complete MOS-compliant real-time graphic solution, being the first graphics manufacturer in the industry to support the latest MOS 2.8.3 version and most MOS profiles. Ventuz 4.05 also introduces support for new video hardware devices, including 4K/UHD and 60 fps boards, using both SDI and HDMI. Among these devices are the Deltacast h4k board, which enables 4K HDMI capture up to 60fps, and the AJA professional range of video I/O boards, like the Kona 3G/Quad, Kona LHe+, Kona LHi and the remarkable new Corvid 88, which enables capturing and outputting material of up to 4K/UHD resolutions at 50/60 fps using SDI connections.
On the presentations side, the already powerful and user friendly warping module has been enhanced with options such as warping groups, mirroring, direct UV editing, perspective corrections and much more. Ventuz now also supports the XDCAM MXF HD422 codec in its Render-to-Disk option. Additionally, improvements have been added to the integration capabilities with enhancements to the remoting core.
