Nashville, TN March 27, 2018 Inspirational entertainment leaders Entertainment One (eOne) is proud to celebrate the momentum of its roster at the 33rd annual Stellar Gospel Music Awards in Las Vegas this past weekend. eOne, which has an expansive presence in Nashville, brought home eight awards in some of the show's most competitive categories. Additionally, eOne artists were a considerable creative presence on the show and delivered some of the evening's most memorable moments.

JJ Hairston & Youthful Praise (JamesTown Music/eOne) was the top winner of the night, bringing home Stellar Awards for Song of The Year, Choir of the Year, CD of the Year, Urban Inspirational Single/Or Performance of the Year, Contemporary Choir of the Year and Praise and Worship CD of the Year. Hairston's album, You Deserve It, and the title-track single have been omnipresent at radio and in churches around the world.

Additional eOne winners include:

Bishop Paul S. Morton Traditional Choir of the Year for the album Legacy: Live in New Orleans (Tehillah/eOne).

Isabel Davis New Artist of the Year for the album The Call (Uncle G Records/eOne).

Bishop Morton's win adds to the vast Stellar Award collection he has amassed over his 30+ year career. Isabel Davis may have been the underdog going into The New Artist of the Year category, but she deservedly and exceptionally came out on top amidst a category of highly esteemed new artists.

eOne's creative presence during the live telecast was significant. Gospel music trendsetter Deitrick Haddon, praise and worship darling Isabel Davis and powerhouse vocalist Lisa Page Brooks were featured in the monumental tribute to Gospel great Edwin Hawkins. Ricky Dillard & New G left the audience in awe, proving why they are a Stellar Awards favorite. Jonathan McReynolds anchored a new emerging artist segment of the show, and Todd Dulaney delivered a rousing rendition of newly christened #1 radio single Your Great Name accompanied by newly signed eOne/Light Records artist Jabari Johnson.

Though it is not televised, the Stellar Awards pre-show is a big attraction that features thrilling performances and where the majority of the award winners are announced. This year, the pre-show featured a performance by recent eOne/Light Records signing Judah Band, who delivered a moving performance of For My Good.

Hosted by Gospel superstar Kirk Franklin, the 33rd Annual Stellar Awards will air on TV One at 8 p.m. / 7p.m. CST on March 30th. The show will be preceded by a one hour live recording special of Jonathan McReynolds' Make Room.
