Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd, a global leader in digital media and digital convergence technologies, announced today that the Samsung Notebook Series 9 (900XSA) is now available in Ireland..

The Series 9 (900XSA) is constructed from duralumin, a material normally used in aircraft design, that's twice as strong as aluminium and extremely light. This innovative design makes the Notebook incredibly lightweight, at just 1.31kg, super-slim, measuring a mere 16.3mm in depth, and extremely durable.

What's more, Samsung's Series 9 (900XSA) has been equipped with a vivid SuperBright Plus' display (400nit) with 16 million colour reproduction and Super Contrast ratio (1300:1) for a bright, vivid viewing experience.

The Series 9 comes with Microsoft Windows 7 and the second generation Intel Core i5 Processor with up to 4GB memory, and a 128GB solid state drive (SSD).The device accelerates performance by allocating processing power where its needed most, using Intel's intelligent Turbo Boost technology 2.0, making it smarter and faster while conserving energy.

The Series 9 (900XSA) is light, slim, tough - and quick off the mark too. Samsungs Fast Start instant-on feature allows users to start working within just 12 seconds. And, Fast Start powers on the device in just three seconds from sleep mode. In this advanced sleep mode, data is also saved on the SSD as well as the internal memory, so content is ready even if power is suddenly lost or the battery is removed.
