Televisi n Espa ola volvi a ser en 2016 un buen escaparate para el cine espa ol. Un a o en el que, con 629 t tulos, ha incluido en su programaci n la cifra m s alta de pel culas espa olas de los ltimos 25 a os, desde que se miden las audiencias. Entre La 1 y La 2 se ha emitido un 90,4% de todo el cine espa ol ofrecido en las cadenas generalista. En total, m s de 39 millones de espectadores, un 87,6%, han visto alg n minuto de cine en la televisi n p blica.
RTVE es el grupo que m s cine espa ol emite, con 629 cintas (70 en La 1 y 559 en La 2), 107 m s que el a o anterior, frente a las tan solo 67 emitidas por el resto de cadenas, debido en gran parte a la apuesta diaria de Historia de nuestro cine' en La 2. Adem s, los largometrajes espa oles han sido acogidos con buenos datos de audiencia por parte de los telespectadores, con unas cifras que han mejorado las de 2015: en La 1, con un 9,4%, y en La 2, con un 2,6%.
La fuerte apuesta de TVE por el cine espa ol se ha visto reflejada, especialmente, en el prime time, que suma 325 t tulos emitidos, la mayor dedicaci n hist rica a nuestro cine en esa franja.
En 2016, Televisi n Espa ola ha participado en 24 pel culas espa olas, entre ellas Slow to anger, de Ra l Ar valo; JulietaPedro Almod var; La Jota, de Carlos Saura; The last of Philippines, de Salvador Calvo y I men de Laura Ma . Tambi n ha apostado por el cine de animaci n con t tulos como Bu uel en el laberinto de las tortugas, Dogtanian and the Three Musketeers and Yoko and her friends.
El cine de nuestro pa s est presente en informativos, magacines y en los programas especializados de TVE, como Historia de nuestro cine, Versi n espa ola, D as de cine, Cine de barrio, Atenci n Obras, Las ma anas de cine, Tardes de cine and spaces RNE De Pel cula, Va de cine and The seventh vice, as como en los informativos y programas culturales de Radio Nacional, como The Critical Eye.
En la 31 edici n de los Premios Goya, que se celebrar el pr ximo 4 de febrero, Televisi n Espa ola suma 39 nominaciones y participa en 10 de las pel culas candidatas a los m ximos galardones del cine espa ol: de las cinco cintas que optan a mejor pel cula del a o, dos de ellas (Julieta y Tarde para la ira) cuentan con la participaci n de la Corporaci n.
