SHANGHAI INTERNATIONAL HALF MARATHON 5G 4K LIVE BROADCAST posted: 04/03/2020
In the 2019 Shanghai International Half Marathon, which started on April 21, 2019, Shanghai Media Tech (SMT) and SMG Great Sports went through multiple rounds of technical solution discussions and extensive testing and debugging to overcome 5G signal coverage, 4G and 5G compatibility.
4K signal on-site encoding and decoding, network transmission, 4K signal conversion, and 4K broadcast end adaptive algorithm and other important technical difficulties, successfully completed the 2019 Shanghai International Half Marathon 5G 4K live full-line signal production, and realized in the context of converged media Cloud Ecology 4K full line construction.
This application of 4K 5G has completed the testing of a full set of 4K HDR rendering solutions for IP, mobile and traditional broadcasters on large and small screens, reflecting the practical effect of convergent production, multiple screens, and adapting to terminals . It indicates that SMT can be practically applied in the field of 5G 4K TV live technology.
