Dejero Users Gear Up for Trump s Inauguration

Many broadcasters to rely on Dejero's LIVE IP newsgathering tools for critical live coverage of historical event

Washington D.C, USA - January 17, 2017 - Dejero, an innovator in cloud-managed solutions that simplify the transport of live video and real-time data across remote or mobile IP networks, today announced they will be in Washington D.C this week to support their domestic and international customers as they broadcast the historic 2017 Inauguration of president-elect, Donald Trump.

Broadcasters including NHK, ABC7 Los Angeles, CTV and Nine Network are among the news crews that will be relying on Dejero's LIVE range of IP newsgathering equipment, which includes the EnGo and GoBox mobile transmitters. Designed to simplify the transport of live IP video, Dejero's LIVE platform uses a unique approach; bonding all available IP networks including cellular, Wi-Fi, and satellite, to deliver high-quality, low-latency video from anywhere in the world.

Dejero will deploy a number of private Wi-Fi hotspots for the Inauguration to ensure its customers can broadcast live in key locations surrounding the White House, including the parade route, the South Lawn, the center of the National Mall, the North Lawn, and the Korean War Veterans Memorial.

The broadcasters covering the event will use Dejero's cloud management tool, LIVE Control, to monitor and route feeds and remotely manage the equipment in the field.

It's critical broadcasting events like this that our LIVE platform is designed for, explains Bill Nardi, VP of broadcast integration and global support at Dejero. Our customers are looking for seamless transmission capabilities to deliver top quality video as their audiences across the world tune in to watch the making of history as it happens. As always for such events, we'll be providing our customers with onsite support to ensure that their viewers get the best live experience possible.

Dejero has a long history of involvement with large-scale and important historical events around the globe. Most recently, the company supported broadcasters covering the 2016 US election campaign, including the Democratic National Convention, the Republican National Convention, and election night.

In a testament to the reliability of Dejero's network bonding capabilities, Dutch broadcaster, RTL Niews, concluded its election night coverage with a special four-hour live show, using Dejero's compact LIVE EnGo to transmit live video back to the Netherlands from a studio in New York.
