We've curated an exciting lineup of highly qualified co-presenters to share their expertise alongside our in-house experts. Here are just a few of the industry guest stars' you can expect at WideOrbit Connect, August 21-22 in San Francisco:
Anne Schelle is a foremost expert on the new ATSC 3.0 broadcasting standard and how it will change station operations. Anne is Managing Director of Pearl TV, a consortia of eight top station groups working to develop next-generation broadcast television platforms, and a Board member of the Advanced Television Systems Committee (ATSC).
Kris Binder, Gray Television's Corporate Traffic Manager, will share the triumphs and heartache of centralizing sales, finance and traffic operations for a 93-station group into a single hub. A two-time Emmy Award winner, Kris has been part of the broadcast TV industry for more than 25 years.
Lynn Rosenberger is Lead Traffic Manager for AT&T SportNet in Pittsburgh. As you might expect for a network that handles live baseball, hockey and football, Lynn has handled nearly every live event interruption you can imagine. She'll share her experience and best practices for handling unexpected news, weather, and sports on Day 2 of WideOrbit Connect.
Karen Youger is Director of Sales Operations for Gray Television, where she led the company's recent conversion to a self-represented sales model. Along with members of the WideOrbit Professional Services team, Karen will share how she uncovered ways to improve Gray's station hub and get them implemented across the company. Her experience will give you plenty of ideas for improving processes at your business.
