Dubbing Production Coordinator Johannesburg

We are looking for an efficient, motivated person to join our dubbing production team. In a nutshell we are looking for somebody who is passionate about organising and being organised to coordinate the communications and day-to-day workings of the dubbing and audio post production process from start to finish.

You will be managing the production office according to the guidelines set out by the Producer and will be left in charge whenever the Producer is in studio or out of the office.

Two to three years experience in production

Ability to secure, manage and negotiate with multiple suppliers including freelance engineers, translators, dubbing directors and actors

Ensure that scripts are translated and delivered on deadline, actors availability is checked and confirmed, dubbing directors are secured and schedules, contact sheets, translated scripts and viewing copies are distributed before going into studio

Ensure that all media is prepared and the studios and engineers have all necessary information before their dubbing sessions

Advanced experience in preparing, updating and distributing dubbing schedules, crew lists, daily progress reports, script changes, call sheets and movement orders

Ability to organise drivers, couriers, shipping companies and online media transfer tools to co-ordinate the shipment of completed media to and from the client

Ability to assist the Producer to wrap the dubbing production by closing and reconciling accounts with suppliers, tying up all loose ends, and ensuring that office files are stored safely, and in a suitable format, so that information can be easily accessed by other personnel when required

Budget management experience

Ability to reconcile basic project budgets

Knowledge of multiple media formats and understanding of media file types

Advanced knowledge of Excel and Word

Excellent Administrative skills

Knowledge of copyright laws

Knowledge of occupational health and safety act

Advantageous

You speak multiple languages

You have a working knowledge of a production management software package

You've worked with translators

You've worked in other parts of Africa
