Fujifilm Introduce New DXA Portfolio

Fujifilm have launched a new range of DXA systems in the UK. The FDX Visionary-A is a pencil beam system, which offers bone specialists a cost effective, powerful and fast solution for osteoporosis diagnosis and fracture risk assessment. The FDX Visionary-DR is a narrow fan beam system, which delivers optimal diagnostic capability, excellent image quality and fast exams.

Both systems have a range features to aid the clinician, including multisite osteoporosis diagnosis, FRAX tool, morphometric tools, DVA, body composition, paediatric module and orthopaedic module. The FDX Visionary-DR also offers new bone density analysis technology and improved accuracy (compared to wide fan beam technology).

Fast imaging speeds are integral to both systems, with the FDX Visionary-A imaging at 60 seconds per site and 4 minutes for whole body, and the FDX Visionary-DR imaging at just 15 seconds per site. Patient comfort and operator efficiency have been optimised across the portfolio, with ergonomic design, intuitive interface and a sleek, modern profile.
