Sprint Selects AirWatch Enterprise Mobility Management for Mobile Initiatives

AirWatch delivers secure solutions for integration of mobile devices and services

ATLANTA Sept. 9, 2014 Today at AirWatch Connect , AirWatch by VMware, the leading enterprise mobility management (EMM) provider, announced that Sprint, a major mobility provider, selected AirWatch to manage its deployment of corporate-owned and employee-owned devices across thousands of Sprint employees. Sprint also resells AirWatch solutions and is participating as a gold sponsor at AirWatch Connect Atlanta 2014, the leading event for enterprise mobility, taking place Sept. 8-11.

Sprint's retail and sales organizations require an advanced level of mobility to connect with customers, in stores and at customer sites. The team implemented AirWatch EMM to enable retail employees to interact with customers securely via mobile devices and tablets in stores to showcase technology services and devices sold by Sprint. Sprint's sales division leverages AirWatch Secure Content Locker to share documents, product and marketing materials, and share presentations with customers. The ability to access applications and content in real-time provides a more engaged experience for the customer versus standing behind a desk as the conventional point of sale.
