Inspired by a true story, Scorpion is a high-octane drama about an eccentric genius, Walter O'Brien (Elyes Gabel), and his team of brilliant misfits who comprise the last line of defense against complex, high-tech threats of the modern age. As Homeland Security's new think tank, O'Brien's Scorpion team includes Toby Curtis (Eddie Kaye Thomas), an expert behaviourist. Happy Quinn (Jadyn Wong), a mechanical prodigy, and Sylvester Dodd (Ari Stidham), a statistics guru. Pooling their extensive technological knowledge to solve mind-boggling predicaments amazes everyone, including federal agent Cabe Gallo (Robert Patrick), who shares a harrowing history with O'Brien. However, while this socially awkward group is comfortable with each other's humour and quirks, life outside their circle confounds them, so they must rely on Paige Dineen (Katharine McPhee, Smash), who has a young, gifted son, to translate the world for them.

Mindys (Mindy Kaling) tax woes could jeopardize the future of the practice, so she concocts a scheme to obtain Cliffs (recurring guest star Glenn Howerton) legal assistance to bail her out. Meanwhile, Peter (Adam Pally) and Jeremy (Ed Weeks) compete for Laurens (Tracy Wigfield) affection.

15 Chefs Compete
The chefs prepare a breakfast menu for culinary-school graduates and their families, and the winning team earns a trip to San Francisco to meet Chef Dominique Chen. Later, both teams encounter problems during the dinner service.

As the 15 remaining bachelorettes settle into mansion life, Tim whisks one lucky lady away for a date that will take them to the very pinnacle of romance. Later, a group date heats things up as Tim and the girls pose for a steamy photo shoot until one of the women makes an abrupt departure. Plus, Tim and one lucky bachelorette are treated to a private concert by none other than Canadian singer-songwriter Andrew Allen. A high intensity cocktail party and rose ceremony sees three ladies sent home without roses, leaving the remaining 12 to prepare for another exciting week ahead.
