IABM will take its highly popular training sessions out of the classroom and on to the show floor at this year's NAB2015. For the first time ever, attendees will be able to book on to one of the courses and get an experience of the wide range of training options offered by IABM.

Delivered through the experienced team at IABM Training Academy, the highly topical courses include subjects at the forefront of the industry agenda, with sessions on Broadcast Technology Workflows and Understanding File Formats, which will take place prior to the exhibition opening.

The session on Broadcast Technology Workflows will address changing customer requirements as a result of the demand for automation of services in the future, and will give attendees a solid platform for understanding the topic. Understanding File Formats will delve into explained current video and audio file formats, as well as their associated metadata and workflows.

The shortage for training in the broadcast and media sector has been well documented and the IABM training programme has become a valuable resource across the industry. The IABM Training Academy is expanding rapidly and is delivering its programmes all over the world to address the increased need for broadcast-related education. In addition to these brand new at show' training sessions, the organisation is planning further developments for 2015 and will launch a series of online courses later in the year.

We have deliberately selected topics that we know will provide valuable and topical knowledge to the industry.

We also understand that not everybody has the ability to take time out of the office to attend courses which is why we have decided to transport the sessions to the audience at NAB2015. It will bring an element of convenience and also enables visitors to truly optimise their NAB experience.

The courses will run 11-12 April, starting at 9.00am. IABM is offering exclusive show rates with the cost of each course $500 for IABM members, $550 for NAB associate members and $600 for non members.
