Para reforzar su presencia en el mercado internacional, Globo llevar al NATPE 2017 un cat logo in dito, con producciones que tuvieron xito en Brasil y que prometen conquistar al mundo. Entre ellas, se destaca la emocionante y revolucionaria historia La Dama de la Libertad , que tiene como protagonista a una mujer adelantada a su tiempo, capaz de hacer toda clase de sacrificios para cumplir su sue o de libertad en el siglo XVIII. Es una historia de poca, con escenarios y vestimentas minuciosamente recreados para otorgarle a n mayor realidad a esta telenovela extremadamente actual. Tomando como referencia un importante per odo hist rico de Brasil, esta producci n refuerza la idea de Globo de tomar al pa s como fuente de inspiraci n, al mismo tiempo que se identifica con p blicos de todo el mundo. Con romance y aventura, la telenovela alcanz m s de 17 millones de espectadores durante su emisi n en Brasil.
La Dama de la Libertad tambi n tuvo xito en las redes sociales. Durante su emisi n, la etiqueta #liberdadeliberdade (nombre de la telenovela en Brasil), alcanz los trending topics 76 veces en Brasil y 16 veces a nivel mundial.
Del mismo director de Lado a Lado , telenovela ganadora del Emmy Internacional 2013, La Dama de la Libertad cuenta la historia de Joaquina (Andreia Horta, Imperio ). Luego de a ver a su padre, un revolucionario considerado traidor, siendo ahorcado y a su madre ser asesinada, la ni a es rescatada y llevada a Portugal. A os m s tarde, ya adulta, vuelve a Brasil, donde despertar el sentimiento revolucionario, que lleva en la sangre, por la libertad del pa s en el siglo XVIII. En su lucha, Joaquina enfrenta a su gran enemigo, Rubi n (Mateus Solano, Rastros de Mentiras ), el hombre que traicion a su padre y mat a su madre, y quien sin saber de su pasado, hace de todo para casarse con ella.
Para transportar al p blico al Brasil colonial, un equipo de profesionales de vestuario y escenario trabaj con empe o en investigaciones sobre historia y en busca de referencias del per odo. Se recrearon vestimentas de la poca, se implementaron maquillajes que transformaron a los personajes y se armaron escenarios que representaron claramente el Brasil del siglo XVIII. Las primeras escenas de la telenovela fueron grabadas en ciudades hist ricas de Brasil, en el estado de Minas Gerais, donde se desarroll el momento hist rico brasile o que tambi n sirvi de inspiraci n para los autores. Para esto, tres camiones y cuatro furgonetas salieron de los Estudios Globo, en Rio de Janeiro, con equipamientos t cnicos y elementos para la escenograf a y la producci n art stica, entre ellos ropas y accesorios como guantes, sombreros y botas. Todo pensado y dise ado para garantizar la est tica y la calidad visual que caracterizan a las producciones de Globo y las hacen mundialmente conocidas.
La telenovela es una versi n libre del libro Joaquina, Filha do Tiradentes , de Maria Jos de Queiroz, y cuenta con un elenco de figuras notables como L lia Cabral ( Imperio ), Nathalia Dill ( Por Siempre ), Mait Proen a ( Gabriela ), Let cia Sabatella ( India - Una historia de amor ), Ricardo Pereira ( Preciosa Perla ), Marco Ricca ( Boogie Oogie: El Baile de la Vida ), Thiago Lacerda ( Preciosa Perla ) y Caio Blat ( Imperio )

Globo estar en la Tresor Tower, suite 2601, durante el Natpe 2017, que se celebra del 17 al 19 de enero. La empresa brasile a, que produce, exhibe y distribuye contenido multig nero alrededor del mundo para diversas plataformas, ofrecer su tradicional desayuno de exhibici n en la ma ana del d a 17 (de 8h a 10h, en el sal n Glimmer de la Torre Versalles), donde lanzar su nuevo cat logo de t tulos in ditos.
