We are beyond stoked to welcome Trevor Kennison to the GoPro Snow Team. While you may not recognize his name from X Games podiums (yet), it certainly rings a bell if you've been following the snow industry at all in the past year. Especially if you follow the brave souls crazy enough to take on Corbets Couloir in Jackson Hole.

In 2019, Trevor became the first person to send it down the infamous chute in a sit-ski. Beyond blowing minds, he was also given the Riders Choice Award at the Kings and Queens of Corbets that same year. Trevor has been riding a wave of fame and, more importantly, gratitude ever since.

We first caught up with Trevor in late 2019 along with the nonprofit High Fives foundation-a cause near and dear to his heart-to learn about his story. Trevor isn't a sit-skier by choice; although, that would be pretty awesome. He suffered a spinal injury riding in the backcountry in 2014. For some, this would mark the end of an athletic career, but for Trevor, it basically launched his.

Today, Trevor is joining the GoPro Snow Team roster as the first male adaptive athlete, and we are thrilled to have him. As you can see in the videos above, Trevor is no stranger to capturing his fearless skiing antics; he's damn good at it. His favorite mount is simple: I use the Helmet Mount. It's very easy for me to use while sit-skiing, he says.

Trevor, like most competitive athletes, has his sights set on going bigger and harder. He's currently focusing on becoming the first to nail a double backflip and road gap backflip. And in addition to more GoPro content, youll soon be able to see the feature-length documentary hell have worked on for two years with Level 1 Productions. And once the snow melts, you'll catch him surfing, dirt biking and downhill biking or just muscling it out with his trainer Jonny Wright.
