La industria del entretenimiento televisivo sigue siendo incansable en la b squeda de formatos innovadores, g neros, lenguajes y modelos de exhibici n y producci n de contenidos. En este escenario, los nuevos h bitos de consumo y la expansi n de ofertas estimulan el mercado, y contenidos innovadores pueden generar nuevas oportunidades de negocio y estrategias. Para hablar sobre el tema con los principales players del mercado, Raphael Corr a Netto, director ejecutivo de Negocios Internacionales de Globo, particip esta ma ana, d a 19, del panel Content Twists in Latin America, realizada durante NATPE.
Durante el evento, Raphael enfatiz el constante impulso de Globo para repensar c mo crea y produce contenido y storytelling: Somos, en esencia, contadores de historias. Y hoy debemos reconocer que ya no podemos crear contenido que no sea multi-plataforma. En nuestro caso, hemos tenido muchas experiencias positivas con contenido cruzado entre nuestro canal de TV abierta y nuestra plataforma de VOD, Globo Play. Los dos est n conectados para servir a la audiencia. Por ejemplo, hemos estado produciendo episodios cero y hemos lanzado programas que se estrenan en nuestra plataforma digital. Tambi n hemos producido spin-offs para que el espectador pueda aumentar su experiencia con la historia en el ambiente digital. Hemos anticipado contenido en Globo Play, que luego es exhibido en la TV abierta. En otras palabras, se trata de nuevas experiencias de creaci n, producci n y distribuci n.
El director destac tambi n la producci n de la serie Supermax , que marca la entrada de la empresa en la producci n de contenidos originales exclusivamente para el mercado internacional. El plan estrat gico es parte del movimiento de Globo que, seg n l, est alineado con la b squeda constante de la compa a por un desempe o global cada vez m s estrat gico y diversificado.
Para el ejecutivo, el ambiente creativo y la cooperaci n entre los principales players del sector en Am rica Latina permiti la producci n de la serie y comprob la viabilidad y la necesidad de nuevas formas de sociedad. La Oficina Burman, TV Azteca en M xico, Mediaset en Espa a, TVP en la Argentina, como co-productores, y nuestro socio estrat gico Teledoce en Uruguay abrazaron el proyecto por entender la importancia para sus estrategias de programaci n en tener un trabajo producido en un ambiente verdaderamente multicultural. Supermax es el resultado de una uni n innovadora y audaz, pero que desde el inicio, nos dio mucha confianza por su fuerza, su poder de convocatoria y sobre todo por la participaci n activa de los co-productores , dijo.
La evaluaci n de Raphael es que, en este escenario, producciones no s lo de Globo, pero de diversos productores de contenidos en el mundo tienen una alta capacidad de expansi n y adaptaci n, y son excelentes conductores de un movimiento, especialmente en Am rica Latina, de renovaci n de la oferta de contenido en formatos y g neros distintos: Pienso que debemos estar cada m s abiertos a las oportunidades de desarrollo y experimentaci n de contenidos que estimulen nuestros papeles en el mercado y sobre todo que ayuden a fortalecerlo. En este sentido, el director tambi n se al la importancia de la innovaci n en las estructuras narrativas y est ticas para la evoluci n de lo que se ofrece al p blico. El ejemplo vino de la serie Justicia que est en el cat logo de licenciamiento 2017 lanzado por Globo este NATPE y que presenta una narrativa completamente nueva: la distribuci n de las historias de cada personaje por los d as de la semana. As , Justicia , disponible en 4K, tambi n da a sus programadores diferentes posibilidades de exhibici n.
