Lightware's award-winning UBEX platform sets the benchmark for 10G AV-over-IP solutions, capable of managing uncompressed 4K60 4:4:4 signals for exceptional video quality, with ultra-low latency that guarantees a lag-free experience. Unlike traditional AV-over-IP systems that require separate transmitter (TX) and receiver (RX) units, UBEX combines both roles into a single device, and it can even be operated in transceiver (TRX) mode. This flexibility offers simplified logistics and faster deployment as well as streamlined scalability, making it ideal for live events where adaptability and a quick turnaround are vital.

Multiview mode lets users display 4 video sources on a single screen by using the first output of the device, these can be arranged in flexible layouts with flawless scaling. In the meantime, the second output can still handle 1 individual stream, or copy the same Multiview layout of the first output. This is ideal for control rooms, live events, broadcast monitoring, video walls, and collaborative spaces, where operators need to see several feeds simultaneously without latency or quality loss.

With Dolby Atmos support as standard, UBEX ensures crystal-clear audio signals reach their destination exactly as intended and without compression, latency or dropouts. UBEX also supports both copper and optical fibre connectivity, giving system designers and integrators the flexibility of short or long-distance AV-over-IP signal transmission.

Engineered for reliability, UBEX is a trusted choice for live events where downtime is not an option. Two parallel 10G ethernet links to transport video and data streams provide the bandwidth needed for transmission of ultra-high-resolution signals. Ensuring robust redundancy, the system can be pre-programmed to handle cable errors, different logic rules can be set to lower the bandwidth needs in such cases, so a reduced quality signal can still reach the receiver side over one remaining cable.
