Atomos On Show at photokina 04

Today Atomos have announced that they will be joining the exhibitor list for the first time at photokina 2014. Atomos will present Shogun and hot from IBC the new Power Station as well as all the latest recorders and camera accessories in Hall 04.1, Stand B009 C008 along with Marcotec. Atomos products can also be found with Sony, Panasonic, Canon, Nikon, Datacolor and Leica at the show.

The power of the relationship between the leading Japanese camera brands and Atomos is in sharp focus at photokina said Jeromy Young CEO and co-founder of Atomos Were proud to be enhancing the amazing sensors in compact cameras from Sony, Panasonic, Canon & Nikon.

As more and more DSLR cameras are incorporating video functionality Atomos have become the go to company that allow cameramen to get the very best image from their camera sensors and streamline their workflow. Exhibiting at photokina, one of the largest imaging fairs, brings together a host of commercial and enthusiast camera users and allows Atomos to bring their award winning products to an even wider market.

Among the Atomos products on show will be the Shogun, the worlds first 12G SDI & 4K HDMI I/O monitor recorder and deck that utilizes both 4K and HD clean output from HDMI cameras such as Sony A7S, Panasonic GH4, 4K SDI Canon C500, and can record 24, 25 or 30p from the camera and up to 120fps HD if the camera is capable.

Also on show is the latest product from Atomos, the Power Station. The new Power Station utilizes Atomoss patented continuous power technology and gives cameramen extra control over power consumption in remote field locations. With a flexible dual USB power source the Power Station allows users to charge a single high powered 2A device (eg iPad) or 2 x lower powered 1A devices and the included 2600mAh batteries are enough to charge an iPhone5 from 0 to 100%, 3 times over. And LED display will let you know exactly how much power is left from a maximum of 5A output.
