
Spanish television see 4 k The secret history of the Mummies of the archaeological museum El documental, coproducido por Story Producciones, ofrecer el proceso completo de la investigaci n a cuatro momias del MAN a partir de una tomograf a computarizada de alta resoluci n.
RTVE coproduce junto a Story Producciones La historia secreta de las momias, un documental que mostrar en La 2 el proceso de investigaci n de cuatro momias de la colecci n del Museo Arqueol gico Nacional (MAN). El estudio, que parte de una autopsia virtual pionera realizada en el Hospital Universitario Quir nsalud de Madrid, demuestra que una de las momias fue sacerdote de Imhotep y m dico del fara n. Los resultados han sido presentados este martes en un acto en el MAN.
Durante la presentaci n, el director de La 2, Juan Manuel Hidalgo, ha felicitado al equipo del Museo Arqueol gico Nacional y del Hospital Universitario Quir nsalud de Madrid por sobrepasar las expectativas que hab a cuando se present este proyecto. Ahora, nosotros tenemos la responsabilidad de hacer un trabajo de divulgaci n para el gran p blico , ha asegurado, al tiempo que ha subrayado la idoneidad de este trabajo, al encajar en el tipo de programaci n de La 2, ser un proyecto de calidad, con recorrido televisivo y ser un producto novedoso en Espa a.
Estamos satisfechos al 100% y a la espera de ver terminada la realizaci n del documental, que promete ser m s que interesante , ha concluido.
El director del MAN, Andr s Carretero, ha destacado la labor del Museo Arqueol gico Nacional a la hora de buscar las tecnolog as m s avanzadas para mejorar el estudio de las colecciones del museo . En este sentido, ha subrayado la magn fica oportunidad que se ha dado para la colaboraci n con el Hospital Universitario Quir nsalud de Madrid, ya que gracias a su tecnolog a, se han confirmado algunas de las suposiciones que se ten an sobre las momias analizadas .
Asimismo, ha se alado que tanto el proceso de la investigaci n como los resultados se van a plasmar en un documental que cuenta, como novedad, con el trabajo de un escultor forense que ha reconstruido el aspecto de la cara de la momia Nespamedu.
En la presentaci n tambi n han intervenido las conservadoras Carmen P rez D e y Teresa G mez Espinosa; y Vicente Mart nez Vega, Silvia Badillo y Javier Carrascoso, del servicio de Diagn stico por la Imagen del Hospital Universitario Quir nsalud Madrid. Todos ellos han detallado los diferentes pasos que se han ido dado durante el a o de investigaci n, as como la importancia de los resultados obtenidos.
Im genes en 4K y recreaciones en 3D
El documental mostrar c mo se realiz el estudio de estas momias, desde que salen del museo hasta que se obtienen los resultados del TAC y son interpretados por m dicos y arque logos. Con este punto de partida se reconstruye c mo fue la vida en Egipto de las momias analizadas, haciendo especial hincapi en el personaje de Nespamedu.
Im genes en 4K nunca vistas de los grandes monumentos de Egipto, entrevistas a los participantes, recreaciones en 3D y la reconstrucci n de los rostros de estas momias son los ingredientes de un documental que muestra el estudio m s importante realizado hasta la fecha sobre las momias del MAN con t cnicas no invasivas.
Un a o de investigaci n y pruebas
Las cuatro momias del Museo Arqueol gico Nacional (tres egipcias y una guanche) fueron sometidas hace un a o a una tomograf a computarizada de alta resoluci n en el Hospital Universitario Quir nsalud Madrid. Tras realizar las pruebas, comenz un ingente trabajo de reconstrucci n de las im genes, reconstrucci n tridimensional e investigaci n llevado a cabo por arque logos y egipt logos del MAN y radi logos.
Los resultados han confirmado que una de las momias era Nespamedu y el estudio radiol gico ha permitido descubrir 25 piezas ocultas bajo sus vendas. Adem s, gracias a las im genes obtenidas y los estudios antropol gicos, se han podido conformar los datos de g nero, edad y modo de vida de todas las momias, as como las diferentes t cnicas de momificaci n a las que fueron sometidos los cuerpos. Dos de las momias son mujeres y una de ellas presenta s ntomas de haber estado embarazada.
El estudio de la momia canaria, una de las mejor conservadas de la cultura guanche, demuestra que mantiene todos sus rganos y fue sometida a un cuidadoso proceso de momificaci n. Con esto la investigaci n confirma la teor a de que las momias guanches no se evisceraban, algo que s ocurre con las egipcias.
