El Observatorio de la Realidad Virtual anuncia ponentes, avanza su agenda y abre inscripciones For two days, Wednesday 19 and Thursday, July 20, the Observatory of virtual reality (OVR17) will offer the audience talks, lectures, demos, networking and B2B.

The Observatory of the (Virtual) realityOVR17), that it will take place on 19 and 20 July in Malaga with support from Samsung, Nokia, Microsoft and Sony-PlayStation, among other large companies, and Audiovisual panorama as a media partner, has unveiled today much of their speakers, an advancing his agenda and has opened its registration to professionals and the public in general.

"We have managed to gather in a single event, 48 hours, in July and in the Costa del Sol, companies visually innovative VR/AR, next to the large multinational leaders of Virtual reality, augmented reality, mixed reality, the 360, video games, e-Sports...," says proud Ricardo Medina, CEO of Medina Media, the organizer of the OVR17.

For two days, Wednesday 19 and Thursday, July 20, the Observatory of virtual reality (OVR17) will offer the audience talks, lectures, demos, networking and B2B,... in the 6,000 square meters of the pole of digital contents of Malaga, just 150 metres from one of the best beaches of the Costa del Sol.

Madiana Asseraf, the head of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU-UER) right, will be the "speaker of honor" of this first edition of the Observatory of Virtual reality (OVR17). The EBU has analyzed and made a report on the companies that are betting on Virtual reality and the reasons why are doing; and which not, and their motives. This report will be presented

within the framework of the ORV17.

Among other speakers who will share their experiences with professionals in the OVR17 listed in the agenda Alfredo P rez, content manager of Samsung Spain; lvaro Villegas, director of the Bell Labs in Spain; Hector Prieto, co-founder and CEO of start-up technological YBVR that is developing a platform for streaming video VR; Antonio Tall n, director of business development of the area of virtual reality of HTC; Alejandro campos, technical development with Microsoft technologies; Jorge Huguet, director of marketing at Sony Computer Entertainment Spain and Portugal; and Alejandro Vega, director of RTVE Digital.

In the latter case, Vega will expose why Spanish Television is betting on virtual reality, to which audience is directed and what are your next projects.

Open registry

The Organization has also today opened registrations registration, mainly aimed at professionals and managers of the industrial ICT and audiovisual wanting to know the latest about this new technology.

But the public in general will also visit the pole of digital contents of Malaga to experiment, for example, the latest generation of Samsung Gear glasses, try up to 12 different Virtual reality and augmented reality devices, or be the first to test first hand the latest Nokia Virtual reality.
