National Geographic and YETi CGI to Develop Interactive Puzzle Game for Web and Mobile Platforms

WASHINGTON (March 3, 2015)-National Geographic has signed game design and development studio YETi CGI to a multiyear licensing agreement to create and launch a new branded, interactive puzzle game for kids for use on Web and mobile platforms.

National Geographic Puzzle Explorer will encourage critical thinking and basic problem solving skills as it teaches children to design and build interactive puzzles through colorful graphics and imaginative game play. Through creative use of National Geographic images and content, users are encouraged to travel the globe, unlocking new locations and experiences.

The game will be released later this year and will be available on the Web, iOS and Android devices. Visit YETi at GDC Play (Moscone Center, San Francisco, March 2-6, 2015), Booth PL 601.
