ISE 2017 Sennheiser expands SpeechLine Digital Wireless range

SL Boundary 114-S DW Dedicated to speech, the new SL Boundary 114-S DW extends the capability of the TeamConnect conferencing system with a wireless solution. The wireless microphone is easily adapted to any conference setting, while its speech-intelligibility ensures that conference participants don't need to speak directly into or even sit close to the microphone.

The SL Boundary 114-S DW also offers the simplicity of wireless charging and can be charged with Sennheiser's recently-launched CHG 2W wireless charging solution. The CHG 2W uses inductive power transmission to provide convenient wireless charging for two mobile devices simultaneously. The SL Boundary 114-S DW can also be charged via USB.

Stay on top with Sennheiser Control Cockpit Sennheiser will be launching version 1.1.0 of its Control Cockpit software suite, offering an intuitive, effortlessly easy way to set up and manage the operation of SpeechLine Digital Wireless systems. The software which is accessible in web browsers on any smartphone, tablet or notebook has been comprehensively updated, offering a global view of even hundreds of SpeechLine devices with a powerful new system of proactive notifications (e.g. battery life alerts) that makes it even easier to stay in control, anticipate issues and take preventative action as needed.

Control Cockpit now also includes a range of new features that enhance its breadth of capabilities still further, including wider language support with English, French, Spanish and German localization as well as a new Event log and a built-in update wizard.

The SpeechLine DW family broke new ground as the first wireless microphone solution dedicated purely to speech, offering a high level of reliability and future-proof technology to deliver supreme speech clarity. As well as continuing to enhance ease of use with Control Cockpit, we have recently expanded the range with new Tablestand units, while adding the simplicity, flexibility and freedom of wireless charging.

SL Tablestand 153-S DW and SL Tablestand 133-S DW Sennheiser has created two new wireless base units featuring wireless charging through induction, the SL Tablestand 153-S DW and SL Tablestand 133-S DW. Being independent from any cables, they offer a highly flexible solution for users.

The SL Tablestand 153-S DW is the perfect solution for ad hoc press conferences or podium discussions in any location. It is compatible with Sennheiser's MEG 14 40 L II B gooseneck microphone, connecting via its XLR-5 socket. The unit provides battery life indication via dedicated battery status LEDs.

Offering compatibility with all Sennheiser XLR-3 gooseneck microphones, the SL DW Wireless Tablestand 133-S DW is optimized for podium discussions, speeches and lectures. It comes with a rechargeable battery pack with up to 10 hours of operating time.

Both new Tablestands can either be charged wirelessly with Sennheiser new CHG 2W wireless charging base or via USB. They can also be monitored and controlled with Sennheiser's Control Cockpit.

The new wireless tablestands are also available in a set: The SpeechLine Digital Wireless Tablestand Set SL TS 133 GN SET DW includes the SL Tablestand 133-S DW, the MEG 14-40 B gooseneck microphone and the SL Rack Receiver DW. The Wireless Tablestand Set SL TS 153 GN-L SET includes the SL Tablestand 153-DW, the MEG 14-40-L-II B gooseneck microphone and the SL Rack Receiver DW.

CHG 2W The new CHG 2W is a convenient wireless charging solution that uses inductive power transmission to provide convenient wireless charging for two mobile devices. It can be used both with the SL Tablestand 133-S DW and with the SL Tablestand 153-S DW.

CHG 4N Also added to the SpeechLine Digital Wireless family is the CHG 4N, a network enabled charger featuring four individual charging bays. These can either be used for the SL Bodypack DW or the SL Handheld DW. Each bay has four dedicated LEDs to indicate the corresponding battery status of the mobile device.

Its flexible network interface provides IPv4 and IPv6 compatibility for seamless integration. As with the new Tablestands, Sennheiser Control Cockpit makes it easy to remotely monitor and control the CHG 4N's settings and status information.

In a recent enhancement to the system, Sennheiser added multi-room functionality, which allows simultaneous, interference-free use of multiple systems on the license-free 1.9GHz frequency.
